Currently as around 80 % of the global dairy production and 80 % of the global grain production is analyzed with FOSS solutions.
Our primary market segments are Laboratories, Milk & Dairy, Meat Processing, Grain, Milling and Oil, Feed and Wine.
FOSS France is looking for an experienced Industry Sales Manager to take on a challenging job in a global and innovative company.
You will be given the opportunity to work with highly advanced, market leading analytical solutions in a strong cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
You will report to the Sales Manager FOSS France.

Primary tasks
As Industry Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing the business and sales of the FOSS solutions in MEAT for the total MEAT solutions portfolio including on-line and at-line solutions.
Experience of Top-Down approach is mandatory.
You will also be responsible for the sales of Analytical Solutions to new and existing MEAT customers in France, and will have overall responsibility for achieving sales budget and set Customer satisfaction targets.
We expect you to establish the annual business plan and execute the plan for MEAT segment.
You will be in charge of maintaining CRM/Pipeline records updated and accurate records with respect to prospects, pre-implementation planning/proposal preparation, sales calls, quotations, pricing, etc., using CRM (SAP) system.
You will work in constant and close cooperation/dialogue with FOSS France colleagues (particularly the Project coordinator) as well as with the global organization.
We expect you to complete a minimum of 8 sales calls per week and to be efficient and meeting the target for sales calls.
You will be the one providing input to marketing/sales with respect to competition and competitive pricing including products, applications, new product development etc.
In addition, we expect you to participate in trade shows and to travel as necessary to cover the territory.

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate comes with 5-7 years’ experience in a sales role in a business-to-business capital equipment sales environment - experience in driving revenue in technical products/instruments in the MEATindustries is strongly preferred.
You hold a technical degree at minimum Bachelor/Master I with a strong DNA in the MEAT business, as well as a proven strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue projections in capital equipment sales.
You have proven experience in Value Based Selling (benefits and profit enhancement proposition).
Knowledge of the MEAT business and top decision makers access would be appreciated.
You have good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite applications such as PowerPoint and Excel required, that will be an asset to prepare proposals and presentations.

You hold excellent sales skills, are action oriented with a proven ability to achieve results.
You have a strong customer focus with the ability to interact with current and prospective customers to close sales or provide customer care.
We expect you to have a high degree of integrity and professionalism and the ability to work with a variety of personalities and styles particularly at management level.
You are very good at building strong relationships both internally and externally and act as a self-starter and multi-tasker, self-motivated, with a capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Furthermore, you must have effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills – in English as well.
Most importantly, you need to be a great friend and teammate to your 40 very knowledgeable and skilled colleagues.
