Area Sales Manager - Sales support & Offer management
Responsibilities / Tasks
You are responsible for the customer relationship and are able to present and promote dairy evaporation technologies. You are technically proficient and will promote GEA’s Unique Selling Points. You will perform the technical and commercial analysis of the customer requests while integrating the local regulations and the cultural background of the request together with the local GEA commercial teams. You will design and size the equipments, propose a technical solution which is competitive and fit for purpose while considering the nature of the products at hand. You build the budget and cost the offer together with the costing and supply chain teams while taking into account the associated scope. You are a key stakeholder in the commercial negotiations with the customer and are responsible for the handover of the project to the project execution teams.
Your Profile / Qualifications
You have an MSc or equivalent and a strong expertise in process engineering.
A significant experience (3 to 5 years) in sizing industrial plants and/or project execution, ideally in the field of dairy evaporation or similar fields (chemical, food&dairy) will be strongly appreciated. A commercial experience is a plus.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken and you are proficient in using the usual IT tools (MS Office, Outlook). Proficiency in French will be appreciated.
Your strong technical, multicultural, and interpersonal skills will be essential assets to lead your missions.
Honest and rigorous, you know how to handle priorities, are able to show initiative and have strong convincing skills in front of our customers.
Our projects being mostly international, you accept to travel internationally occasionally.
