Goal of Sales Development Role :
As Sales Development Rep (SDR) you work closely with the sales team on a daily basis and actively contribute to the acquisition of new customers. As such, you research and qualify new sales opportunities by combining various inbound and outbound prospecting tactics. You create a consistent, predictable and scalable business pipeline for revenue growth.
You will be responsible for engaging with businesses through channels such as social media, telephone, email. And working on dedicated marketing campaigns to drive revenue for Genesys.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
In close collaboration with account managers, develop an action plan to approach target clients using outgoing techniques to expand the scope of accounts.
Position Genesys as a global provider of software and services for communications, collaboration and customer engagement.
Develop and maintain your updated lead database in the Salesforce tool to reflect the current state of prospects until they are ready to move into the sales cycle.
Turn qualified prospects into sales opportunities, cultivating and educating potential buyers.
Ensuring the quality of the information in the database.
Schedule product demonstrations, intro meetings w/potential buyers between account executives and potential customers.
Plan product demonstrations, introductory meetings between potential customers and account managers.
Find and format the necessary elements of communication to promote webinars according to our graphic charter and our libraries or in professional databanks: photos, video, texts.
Participate in communication meetings and their reporting.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:
You are endowed with an excellent quality of oral and written expression.
First desired experience in outbound prospecting / internal sales, preferably within IT /Cloud solutions.
You have an appetite for hunting and great skills to convince and develop relationships over the phone.
You know how to prioritize your tasks, manage your time efficiently and meet deadlines.
You have a real interest in new technologies.
You master the development of sales in the front line.
You know how to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment.
Native French and excellent English is required for this position.
An evolution towards an Account Executive position within the Sales Department France is possible and other future careers opportunities within Genesys.
