Job description

The Sales Scientific Manager is a challenging role, ideally suited to someone with knowledge of Genetic Engineered, Immunology or Oncology. Directly relates to the Director of Sales Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the achievement of the sales targets for his/her portfolio of Genoway’s Models Engineered Products & Services (GEMS) into diverse international customers (Academic Research, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical).


Missions Identify and contact, by using the customer portfolio of the company and through new contacting, researchers who can benefit from services and products of the company ; Support and advise customers in the research and the understanding of their scientific projects ; Work with the commercial team to study the technical feasibility of the projects, build the technical proposals and sign contracts with the identified prospects ; Build of framework agreements adapted to strengthen and perpetuate the existing relations with certain researchers ; Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities by visiting customers regularly ; Prepare the prospection, calls, visits, webinars and quotations within the framework of your perimeter ; Establish new contacts in the academic, biotechnological and pharmaceutical markets, he/she will develop the business flow and will build a strong business relationship with the customers; Promote the sales of our products and services by realizing the follow-up of your customers as well as the development of your sector ; Maintain & develop strong relationship with key customers & KOL references in conjunction with our Scientific Consulting & Project Management Teams ; Through scientific consulting, enhance customer satisfaction & increase our competitive advantage while building trust & relationships with customers through the support of the GEMS team ; Interact and cooperate with the other departments of the company (Marketing, Customer Service, Sales support) to obtain the most effective teamwork, to promote the sales ; Provide field feedback on competitor’s products and services as well as marketplace activities.

Profil

Master Degree/PhD in Immunology and/or Oncology (or equivalent) ; Minimum of 3-5 successful years in sales experience with a proven track record in Life Science & Genetic Engineering Products and/or Services would be a plus; Good knowledge in project management and proven experiences of working with a Project Management team ; Solid understanding of current pre-clinical research and drug discovery market trends including Immunology, Oncology, Cellular & Gene Therapies etc… Experience and successfull in sales development of high value-added scientific services who require a structured and long-term approach.
Personal Skills Interpersonal skills at all levels and a passion for selling are all the qualities needed to be successfull ; Ability to listen and understand the customer needs ; He/She is dynamic, autonomous and rigorous ; Willing to travel worldwilde (Europe, North-America, …) ; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
