Key Account Manager - Taste & Wellbeing - Your future role?


Come join an enthusiastic commercial team, dedicated to guiding growth, building customer relationships, and identifying business opportunities within the food industry.


As Key Account Manager, you will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. You will operate at the forefront of innovation and participate in creating products that will find their way to consumers through supermarkets and food service channels. You will report directly to the Head of Sales France.

We are looking for an experienced and strategic account manager, with a knowledge of the food & beverages industry. Previous experience with food, beverage. You will be based in Argenteuil, France.


In this exciting role you will:



Grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
Assume the lead role for all Givaudan activities for designated accounts
Cultivate customer relationships with main decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as a preferred supplier
Communicate, and implement strategic ADPs, sales forecasts, and budgets for key accounts, with clear goals
Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans
Defend base business in main markets and with main customers
Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines and manage credit, pricing, rebates. For key accounts

Your professional profile includes:



Master degree level (University, Business School or Engineer school) in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or Commercial studies
7+ years of successful sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food or related industry
Apply strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting skills to develop ADPs
Knowledge of customers and competition
Understanding of customer strategy, projects, priorities, launch processes, and how to position Givaudan offerings
Understand profitability goals for key accounts
Can accomplish all account management steps in the brief handling process; understand how to manage scale-ups
Develop and maintain our business by identifying unmet customer needs and create new business opportunities
Ability to build strong relationships with main customer decision-makers
Ability to capture new business from existing customers and acquire new customers
