You will BE responsible for supporting profitable sales in the Industry segment, including all principal duties and responsibilities indicated below. The goal is to make Grundfos a strategic partner for Industrial end-user accounts in their effort of improving their pump system process and improving their environmental profile and system performance. The Service Sales Engineer must improve customer´s process and satisfaction within end-user markets in Industry; assist in the management of key accounts to secure and preserve long term service relationship.
In this role you will help develop and drive the aftermarket business in close collaboration with Sales and Service Delivery by immersing deeply with our end users, understanding their pains within maintenance, reliability and optimization.
To BE successful in this role you will also BE able to :
- Have the technical experience and the ability to learn about the service products Grundfos offers, adding value and resource to the sales process and gain market share.
- Ensure customers are receiving the most effective engineering design and product selection based on their applications.
- Participate in global, market-specific, network meetings and interfaces with key product and other management personnel and stay abreast of the service industry trends, evolutions and applications.
- Promote the Grundfos brand, its products and services, and when required demonstrate and instruct in its application.
- Provide engineering support via system design, product selection and maintenance and spare parts management.
- Perform on-site surveys and energy checks involving setting simple data acquisition devices.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and target accounts.
- Ensures that Grundfos delivers a maximum value proposition to the account. (Delivery, service quality, response time, pricing, etc.).
- Ensures accurate and dedicated maintenance of the CRM.
- Prepares quotations and negotiates pricing and conditions with customers on a project by project basis, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for managing expense budget, bi-weekly reports and focuses on fulfilling sales quota, marketing goals and profit objectives.
