Who you are...
You are a high performing sales leader with incredible drive and an insatiable hunger to win. You have 10+ years sales experience and are excited by the opportunity to build and scale our business. You have an exemplary track record as a sales leader and will be responsible for building strategic territory plans with detailed execution strategies to enable success and expand our presence within the region.
You will be a mentor and motivator to your direct reports and will determine the performance metrics and KPIs needed to achieve high output and achievement. You will be a part of the European leadership team and will contribute to the overarching regional strategy.
You are someone who thrives on building, developing and coaching a high performing sales team. You're someone who has been in a senior sales individual contributor role before and you have a track record of hitting your quota. You will manage a high performing team of up to fifteen individuals covering France, Spain, and Italy regions. Ideally, you speak French, Italian, Spanish and/or English. This role reports to the General Manager, EMEA.

Strategy: You’re a strategic thinker with a pragmatic mind-set. You are able to predict and hypothesise potential pain points and needs not directly expressed. You have a solid understanding of the social landscape and are experienced in creating and executing innovative strategic plans to enable both revenue and regional growth.
Leading: You are a trustworthy leader and have extensive experience developing and managing a high performance team. You’re great at leading teams selling complex solutions to enterprise organisations.
Communicating: You are an articulate communicator who can alter your communication style to suit your team’s, client’s and wider business’ needs. You are approachable, dependable and have a personable manner. You’re also great at engaging and building valuable relationships with both internal stakeholders and C-Level executives
Industry Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of Hootsuite, Social, SaaS and the wider digital industry. You are Sales Methodology trained, and great at educating your team and the wider business.
Adapting: You are not daunted by change. You’re productive and thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities…
Driving and supporting the attainment of both individual and team sales quotas
Hiring, training, coaching, and performance assessment
Tactical day-to-day leadership #player/coach
Developing a Sales team that overachieves their sales goals, establishes strong client relationships, and builds team tenure
Building relationships within the client and prospect base

SaaS sales experience
Strong background in social business at a management level
Degree educated (BA, BSc, Masters, MBA etc.)
