For our EMEA Solution Engineering team, Infovista is seeking a unique individual with a rare combination of outstanding communication skills, excellent technical expertise, ability to build relationships with customers, and experience in earning customers' business in complex sales cycles. This position will challenge the successful candidate to excel in a variety of areas and offer significant opportunity for reward and growth. This individual will join the Service Assurance sales team and support field sales. This position reports to the Sales Engineering Director for the EMEA region, and requires a virtual office located in territory and travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
The role is responsible for aligning our award-winning product & solutions catalog to the customer’s operational requirements, and translating these into business requirements within the Infovista’s sales organization.
· Prepare and assist sales managers in customer meetings with technical expertise, presentations, product demos and trials
· Answer technical parts of customer RFQs and RFPs
· Understand business value and build ROI analysis as appropriate.
· Recommend and tailor technical argumentation and technical pre-sales activities to advance sales opportunities
· Prepare unique configurations and solution descriptions for products/solutions in sales quotes to customers
· Where required plan, prepare and validate new configurations and solutions for or with customer
· Improve the flow of information from the market to the product development units, liaise with staff from marketing and R&D.
· Participate in workshops with product specialist and act as a technical expert regarding questions about future technical requirements on the product from the market.
· Assist in definition, management and delivery of Service Assurance, Network Planning, Optimization and Testing services
· Organize and conduct product trials together with customers on site
· Lead technical customer workshops, Conduct customer product training and workshops on request
· On needed basis, support the Post- sales team with activities regarding the designed solution, potentially including on and off-site implementation, training and mentoring
· Support sales team in general in matters concerning products and their technical capabilities
· Feedback technical market requirements to product management
· Report progress within the assigned areas
· Support Sales at developing new business and acquiring new logos within the given territory
· Gives full visibility on the business pipeline via SFDC and adhere to InfoVista forecasting rules
· Establish and define expectations and manage handover of opportunities to the delivery team.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· 10+ years’ experience in mobile telecommunications, with a minimum 3-5 years’ hands-on experience as pre-sales with carrier network operators or service providers
· Understanding the challenges faced by Mobile Service Providers when it comes to planning, deploying, migrating, and operating a multi-vendor RAT environment.
· Knowledge of how automation and machine learning can be used to reduce MTTR and improve operational efficiency.
· Technical understanding and domain experience in VoIP, IMS and Mobile networks, 5G a plus
· Technical understanding and domain experience in Radio Access Networks
· Technical understanding and domain experience in Business Analytics and Performance Management tools
· Candidate should have exposure to Service assurance systems and knowledge of operators OSS environment and FCAPS solutions.
· Experience in demonstrating complex, network-based applications, including voice, video and Mobile Broadband
· Experience with the operation of OSS tools, radio planning tools, and network testing & optimization tools.
· Good knowledge about competitor offerings and their unique technical features
· Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
· Very good reporting and problem-solving skills
· Perseverance in achieving the team's goals; Result oriented; attention to detail
· Ability to travel regularly throughout the region to provide on-site technical support and training
· A self-starter and strong self-control skills; ability to work both independently or member of a team
· Fluent oral and written English; additional languages an advantage
