InRule Technology is looking to hire a Sales Engineer - Paris, France. Whether you are an experienced Sales Engineer or a programmer who is looking to take your career in a new direction, this is a unique opportunity for someone who is a qualified technical resource and an experienced professional to move into an essential role in our growing company. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology and educating others about the possibilities of InRule’s Business Rule Management System. In this role, you will have opportunities to collaborate with sales executives as well as work autonomously.

This is a full time position. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

This position will report directly to the Director of Sales Engineering.

InRule Technology is based on Chicago, but this position can be remote.

Responsibilities:
Deliver product demonstrations

Communicate product benefits and features to technical and non-technical audiences

Assist prospects through their technical evaluation of InRule (typically 3-4 months)

Serve as the first line of support for prospects during the course of their product evaluation

Bring a prospect’s vision to life by developing and demonstrating custom prototypes

Respond to Requests for Information/Proposal (RFIs/RFPs)

Identify opportunities for product change, enhancements, new features and functionality

Stay abreast of technology trends in enterprise IT environments

Maintain knowledge of existing solutions and future product direction

Contribute to InRule marketing efforts, including blog posts, conference presentations, webinars or videos

Required Skills and Experience:
3 - 5 years of experience programming in C#

Experience across the Microsoft technology stack, including Visual Studio, SQL Server and Azure

Experience with service-oriented architecture design patterns (WCF, REST)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience interpreting software requirements

Ability to think logically and make inferences with incomplete information

Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies as needed

Action-oriented attitude and willingness to jump into an unknown situation without hesitation

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Nice to Have:
Sales engineering experience

Multilingual - InRule opportunities will span the UK, France and other Western European countries

Formal education in MIS, Computer Science or similar field

Experience with multiple programming languages

Familiarity of IIS and Windows Server troubleshooting and configuration

Experience with web or mobile technologies

Experience with Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, K2, or Amazon Web Services
