Our proprietary web-based platform, EcoSys EPC, helps Global 2000 companies and government entities worldwide plan and manage sophisticated project portfolios, control project costs, and improve project performance. Our customers execute some of the world’s largest projects in industries spanning energy & utilities, engineering & construction, mining, transportation, and government.

EcoSys is seeking a Business Development Manager. Candidate will join a dynamic software company dedicated to the development, implementation, and support of EcoSys Enterprise Planning & Controls (EPC), a market-leading web-based system for portfolio and project management with a focus on cost controls.

This position covers France.

Responsibilities Responsibilities include providing live software demonstrations onsite and via the web, building prototypes for unique presentations, developing slide presentations when appropriate, and assisting on RFPs with functional expertise of our software EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning & Controls).

Candidates must have an Enterprise Software background with experience demonstrating packaged software applications.

Candidates do not need software development backgrounds.

Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.

Market education through papers, articles, seminars, conferences, and direct sales/support training to ensure Intergraph capabilities and vision is not only understood, but adopted as best practice.

To provide consultancy by providing workshop/best practice/subject-matter-expertise for large/critical accounts in support of regional/global customer activities

Articulate EcoSys strategy to clients either directly; as part of pre-sales and as an orator at tradeshows and user community meetings

Provide market intelligence and expertise to sales force on EcoSys related issues and opportunities including requests for information and quotations.

Provide pre-sales support by developing strategies and tactics on key opportunities including, but not limited to cost benefit analysis, customer requirements definition, solution definition, proof of concepts and demonstrations. Assisting pre-sales resources to ensure that the EcoSys brand is managed and presentations are of a high quality.

Maintain a strong relationship with the corporate development centres and disseminate information on product / integration strategy evolution to the EMEA region, providing feedback to influence the on-going product strategy.

Maintain a strong relationship with Global, Americas and AsiaPac business development; sharing lessons learned and new strategies.

Act as a liaison with Global support in the resolution of critical product and services support issues.

In conjunction with product matching, identifying and developing relationships with complementary partners that focus on the local markets that Intergraph operates within to help drive market expansion.

To ensure that sales/market not only understands the differentiation between Intergraph and other competitors, but also other barriers to sales.

There will be a high requirement for regional and international travel which is estimated to be 60% for attendance at conferences; sales meetings and customer engagements.

Qualifications Required:

Enterprise Software background

Desired:

Experience with Oracle Primavera and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) such as Deltek Cobra

Project Controls domain expertise

Effective collaboration and negotiation

Effective communicator on all levels

Working in a task force environment

Strong team player

Able to differentiate strategic, tactical and operational solutions and apply them to the EMIA market

Attention to details yet focused on the overall objective

Sales orientated (internal and external)

Experienced presenter

Fluent in English and French.

Engineering or Business Degree.

Working knowledge of EcoSys is advantageous

Implementation and use of enterprise-class IT solutions
