Position Description:
We are looking for a new colleague for Lenovo’s ThinkAgile solutions portfolio, that is anchored primarily in the area of Software Defined Infrastructure, Cloud and hyper-converged.
As a Technical Solutions Business Development Manager in Lenovo’s Datacenter group (DCG) you will engage in actively promoting and developing Lenovo DCG solutions and products business with Lenovo partners, Lenovo sales and pre- sales team.
Your goal and target will be to help develop Lenovo’s data center opportunities through the sales cycle. Understanding customer business and technical requirements you will be responsible of working closely with the channel team and identify the key solution partners in the region with who you will develop sales business plan and tailored customer programs build to increase Lenovo hyper-converged solution sales.
Further, you’ll be a key contact in the country/region for Lenovo’s ThinkAgile portfolio. You will be in charge of enabling our data center partners, preparing RFI and RFPs, presenting solutions and coordinating proof of concepts.
Your solution knowledge, Technical skills, and credibility are critical to help accelerating the sale of strategic solutions in the country/region.
Position Requirements:
Demonstrate a broad understanding of trends & technologies for Cloud, Private cloud, converged and hyper-converged systems, virtualization, x86 server and entry to mid-level Storage Ideally, experiences with a subset of below solutions and products: Nutanix, VMWare, MS Azure, NetApp, EMC, VCE, Cisco, OpenStack) General knowledge across the Server, Storage and Networking portfolio, with competencies in core technologies like software defined storage etc. Successful track record of creating, presenting and positioning cloud solutions , hyper-converged, converged and/or server virtualization solutions directly to end customers and via reseller channels Able to create and present technical solutions to senior level clients within the customer and clearly articulate the technical value proposition to the customer Understanding of trends & technologies for x86 and storage solutions Ability to work collaboratively with partners and employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing and Product Development.
