POSITION DESCRIPTION: Sales
Engineer
LiveAction is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to lead the technical sale of the opportunity and engage with both end customers and channel partners alike. This position requires a solid understanding of the partner landscape, their technical capabilities and business plans. This position supports accounts primarily in the EMEA and extensive travel is required.
Duties:
Lead all Pre-Sales engineering efforts including customer calls, product demonstrations, and support with product evaluations. Assist EMEA Partner Account Managers in developing theatre partners to define the customer’s technical business problems. Architect LiveAction solutions for big and small prospects that include LiveNX, LiveWire, LiveCapture, Omnipliance and more. Define solutions and articulate the benefits of LiveAction solutions versus our competition. Develop the proof of concept and demonstration competencies within the partners. Support internal Engineering team by capturing customer feedback, feature requirements, support beta customer testing, and perform documentation review. Develop and maintain positive and lasting customer relationships. Participate in industry events/tradeshows Work hard, have fun and be a solid team player!


Qualifications:
Ten plus years enterprise sales, consulting engineer or technical solutions architect. Expertise in core routing and switching, data center, security or network performance management solutions. Expert level understanding of routing & switching, experience in networking operations, security operations and/or data center expertise. Cisco CCIE or AWS SA Professional Required. Bachelor’s degree required. MBA Preferred. Experience working for a vendor and at a customer. People just like you. Truly a team player that wants to learn, work hard and have fun every day. Proven track-record of sales engineering and able to work well with one or more sellers. Positive can-do attitude, driven, reliable, trustworthy, intelligent, and team player. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a virtual office environment. Excellent relationship building and creative technical consultative selling skills. Excellent written and oral communication presentation skills. Technical skills required include expertise in: Routing & switching – all L2, L3 protocols Extensive Netflow knowledge – FNF, Medianet, AVC, Profiles and Policies Application Performance Management – awareness and user experience a plus SDWAN – any and all vendors. Experience with deployment a plus. QoS – extensive knowledge of QoS on Cisco devices preferred. Cloud Certified a big plus – AWS, Azure, Google Security expertise – Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, etc. Travel approximately 40-60%.
