Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will participate in managing outbound licensing activities which include:
Promote SST’s SuperFlash and memBrain technologies to semiconductor companies worldwide
Prospecting, negotiating and closing new licensing opportunities
Managing, creating and closing licensing contracts in conjunction with Legal Department
Building executive relationships with existing and new licensees
Generating continuous business analysis and feedback for Licensing business
Developing, maintaining and presenting detail account planning
Contributing to the development and deployment of Division strategy
Conducting competition and market analysis
Requirements/Qualifications:
Sales approach but engineer at heart
Must be motivated to cultivate relationship with our customers
Passionate about technology
Must demonstrate broad knowledge of the Semiconductor IP industry
Must understand flash or other non-volatile memory technologies or exhibit the aptitude and desire to learn the intricacies of the technology
Required travel - 30%
Must understand NVM based products, market segment and customer base
Ability to manage multiple customers and programs in the technology sector
Excellent presentation and communication skills
In depth knowledge of MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint
Education & Experience Required:
BS in EE or Physics, MSEE or MBA preferred with 10+ years experience in business development or marketing in Europe
