Director, Channel Sales SEUR


The Opportunity  


As Senior Manager Channel & Ecosystems for Southern Europe, you are responsible for fostering the relationship between Nutanix, Channel and Ecosystem partners throughout your territory. Your ability to lead a diverse team of Channel Sales Managers and work with many partners across Southern Europe is essential to your being successful in this role, as well as your ability to penetrate new territories and align efforts from departments across both organizations. It is essential that you can work across cross-functional teams from Nutanix’s Sales, Systems Engineering, Channel Marketing, Field Marketing, Alliances and Sales Operations functions to lead your team striving to build pipeline necessary to attain and exceed sales performance.

Our Channel sales team at Nutanix have a keen ability to develop new accounts, penetrate new divisions and organizations and develop partner skills on the full Nutanix portfolio. Nutanix provides unrivaled support and tools from the Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments for you to leverage to exceed sales performance goals. 


Your role 




To lead a team of talented Channel Sales Managers who work directly with our largest partners to build skills in selling the Nutanix portfolio, develop sales pipeline, win New Logo customers and grow our mutual business together. 


To coach and develop the Channel Sales Managers in executing their growth strategies, attainment of bookings and pipeline creation goals. 


Work closely with sales management on development and execution of Channel Sales strategy in support of Sales growth objectives. 


Plan and direct channel activities including partner business planning in line with company growth objectives, partners QBR’s, forecasting, marketing  , relationship development, and partner satisfaction. Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for management review. 


Collaborate with the field marketing organization to plan, deliver and lead an effective communication and demand generation campaign for each focus partner. 


Collaborate with cross functional teams; Channel SE’s, Enablement, Channel Programs, OEM to align to your growth strategy. 


What you will bring 




8 to 12 years of experience  


A strong understanding of the sales process and Channel Sales and the ability to effectively lead and develop a diverse team of Channel Sales Managers. 


Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques. 


Ability to communicate with C-level partner contacts about their business challenges and Nutanix architecture. 


As a top-tier, experienced professional, with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures, you will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving a wide range of issues in visionary and practical ways. 


Ability to plan and operate within a budget to support the enablement, marketing and promotion of the regional partner business plans.

My career highlights so far include starting a partner business, leading several businesses for Netapp and also developing and progressing within Nutanix since joining.

How we work 


Our sales team is a fully hybrid team with the team working throughout EMEA. When working from home, you will still feel connected to the team with our weekly meetings, 1-1s and daily slack (instant messaging) chats and we try to swing by the office once every week or two to catch up, socialize and enjoy our amazing office space!
