Mission



Boost new Product deployments, internal and external.
Identification of networks at suppliers, partners, and customers
Identify business opportunities via customer/BU/supplier networking.
Management OEM assimilation phase: interaction between internal and external innovation resources and the customer
Contributes to PO’s product roadmap with target applications.
Lead technical/economic convergence (PO central / BU / OEM / other players) for specific applications (customer context: vehicle integration, manufacturing scenario, business case)
Transfer product application background to program/know how from development kick off.
Generation of RFI/RFQs for new business applications
Network construction for targeted product/OEM

Activities


Advanced acquisition phase (up to award):



Coordinate Customer early phase: lobbying, pre-selling, events, expertise, proto, RFI, RFQ…
Identify and manage the contributing partners between internal resources (R&I, PLE, IPM, Métiers, Competence Center, Plants, Program, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, IP) and external resources (OEMs, suppliers, partners & academics)
Collect, analyze, and report Customer Needs
Define needed technical network (skills, resources, timing) to achieve product challenges in the scope of PO strategic activities (innovations bricks, product pillars, partnerships)
Provide inputs, coordinate, and collect outputs from the “metiers” (expertise fields: PLE, innovation, design …)
For new products, coordinate customer presentations based on R&I inputs (OEM inputs, diversity, product definition, innovation concepts, technical concepts, tool options, logistic, process, quality, planning, patents, benchmark…)
Present and defend internally and to OEM the applications.
Validate product inputs for internal milestones (CapCom, innovation milestones, …)

Development & Production: for first applications (new product or products new to the BU).



Coordinate the knowledge transfer to the development team based on innovation and expert’s inputs.
At the end of the project participate to lessons learned built up.

Strategic roadmap: as part of business development team



Interface with innovation to define product evolutions expected by OEMs and product targets (specifications to perform, vehicle integration constraints, weight, cost, …)
For Strat plan and Customer Strategic Review, work on products and programs with sales team to define & rate OEMs targets.
Provide feedback to innovation team on innovation roadmap / targeted products / OEMs / suppliers and partners.
For allocated products/customers, generate a customer network mapping with details on key players to generate new businesses.
