JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Account Executive for the German market, you'll join the PlayPlay Sales team.

As part of our International Sales Team dedicated to this market, you will help us to understand the best ways to break into the German market. You will generate new MRR by closing deals (mid-market & large companies) and developing PlayPlay’s client base in Germany.

MISSIONS

Build up the German commercial strategy

Study the B2B SaaS video market in Germany and the local competitive landscape, with the support of our Market Expansion Manager. Identify PlayPlay’s strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and potential challenges in this market. Identify the high-priority targets (by vertical / organisation type / level of access / key personas) to break into the German market. Speak with a maximum number of people to identify and map out the correct points of contact for both existing and potential clients.

Build and manage your sales pipeline

Close a maximum of sales opportunities with large German companies through: Inbound leads: contact, discovery call, product demonstration, sales proposal drafting, negotiation and closing. Outbound leads: handover with the SDR team, product demonstration, sales proposal drafting, negotiation and closing. Expand PlayPlay accounts within the German market: mapping, prospection, qualification, demonstration and closing. Respond to calls for tender and develop complex sales proposals. Participate in the biggest martech and social media events in Europe (Vivatech, Dmexco, Social Media Week...). Participate in the recruitment and training of new sales team members.

Data tracking

Monitor your prospects and activities within our CRM, Hubspot (soon to be Salesforce). Communicate about your activity via KPIs set by your manager.

Cross-team projects

Work with the Marketing team to find content strategies in order to generate and nurture leads. Participate in the analysis of the marketing campaigns implemented. Work with the Outbound team to analyse the relevance of the outbound campaigns and identify new campaigns to be implemented. Work closely with the Market Expansion Manager to continuously improve our Sales playbook and our commercial strategy for the German market.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 years of experience in Sales in the tech sector, ideally for SaaS platforms. ️ Proven track record of exceeding your sales quota with B2B customers as an Account Executive. Previous experience of working on the German market as a B2B Account Executive. A previous experience in opening a new market would be a plus. Native German required.
