The Sales Manager is responsible for sales of integrated solutions of the Promethean portfolio, including all Hardware, Software and Services. Manage the end to end sales process across your territory. Share responsibility for customer satisfaction in the assigned sales territories or markets together with other functional team members. Uphold Promethean’s brand image and reputation by maintaining the highest ethical standards and uncompromising integrity.
Achieving annual sales revenue quota as set by the business while maintaining acceptable level of sales margins within your assigned territory.
Leveraging strong Channel Partner relations to achieve sales targets by creating solutions and strategies to meet the needs of the customer.
Exploring upsell and cross-selling opportunities whenever possible in order to expand Promethean’s reach into a new or existing account.
Demonstrating the full range of Promethean products to build opportunity growth and expand our customer base.
Working with our Education Consultant team when needed to ensure customers receive high level demonstrations of Promethean products while ensuring efficient usage of their time.
Continually building a pipeline of strong opportunities to provide on-going growth within your territory while providing day-to-day management of existing accounts.
Influencing the direction of our Inside Sales team to ensure they are uncovering new opportunities every day.
Maintaining complete documentation of account activities within assigned territory using Salesforce.com.
Providing accurate reports to Regional Managers on sales/sales opportunities within your specific territory.
4 Year college degree preferred
Technical aptitude to demonstrate and explain new technologies to school districts.
REQUIRED: 3+ years’ experience selling HARDWARE technology solutions preferably in Education market (5 + years highly preferred).
Meets company goals related to product mix and attach rates.
Has proven and demonstratable track record for sales quota success.
High levels of customer satisfaction.
Team player who works well with internal resources and Channel Partners in assigned territory.
Up to speed on latest developments within the Education Technology sector.
Understands the pedagogical difference that Promethean products can make to students.
Excellent verbal, presentation and written language skills required for customer face to face interaction and follow up communications
