Objectives of the Role:


As a nexus between Sales, prospects & customers, Product Management, and Customer Experience & Engagement, the Revenue Engineering function is at the center of the PROS go-to-market (GTM) engine. The Revenue Engineering Team is responsible for the strategic design, configuration, execution, and maintenance of impactful GTM demos, commercial best practices, and sales effectiveness tools to inspire prospects and customers to move towards a better tomorrow and recognize PROS as the best technology and partner in the digital selling and pricing market.




From PROS Platform configuration, industry demos, business acumen, analytics, and custom customer demos to innovative solutions, enablement efforts, strategic collaboration, and coaching, the Senior CPQ Revenue Engineer is an integral partner to GTM Team.




Key Responsibilities:




PROS Platform Demo Configuration Skills



Knowledge of the configuration of the PROS Platform, especially Smart CPQ and Agreements, to support scalable and innovative demos that assist customers and prospects in realizing the value of PROS technology and partnership.
Knowledge of the connections between Smart CPQ and Smart Price Optimization are important for the delivery of successful demos and projects.



GTM Collaboration



Collaborate with our Sales, Strategic Consulting, and Product teams to create compelling solutions that demonstrate real value.
Revenue Engineering works across the GTM Team’s efforts, and you will be responsible for the management of demos and execution of initiatives for the GTM Team.
Works across the global Sales, CEE, Marketing, and Product organizations to ensure alignment and execution of cross-organizational program initiatives.



Business Strategy via Technology & Industry Knowledge



The application of industry knowledge, digital selling best practices, and digital pricing expertise are immense value-adders for PROS customers and the Sales Team.
Revenue Engineers should possess curiosity and a passion for learning within industries that they support and how the PROS Platform empowers our customers to better serve their customers. Core industries include: Automotive, Chemicals, Consumer Goods, Energy/Oil/Gas, Food, Healthcare, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Manufacturing, and Technology



Project Management



Demos configuration and Revenue Engineering Team initiatives are dynamic and require strong project planning and organizational skills. Lead and participate on projects with tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment where communication is vital.
Timelines and priorities shift, and Revenue Engineers need to be able to adapt and prioritize projects.



Sales Process Execution Consistency & Innovation



To scale our organization, you will drive repeatability, process, and creativity to accelerate our demos. This includes learning and understanding PROS sales process and the application of MEDDPICC.
Proactively identify opportunities for demo process improvement.



Enablement & Team Support



You and your team are responsible for recommending the combination of the right demo assets, tools, and collateral to win business.
Empower your teammates and bring them along with you.



Required Qualifications:


We are looking for candidates who possess the rare combination of the following skills, mindset, behaviors, PROS Platform knowledge, and experiences:





Knowledge and understanding of PROS solutions and their value propositions
Strong project management skills to execute impactful PROS Platform demos.
Successful experience in a “complex sale” environment
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills used to translate data and trends, along with market and customer insight
Strong communication skills including the ability to articulate concepts to internal and external audiences
A Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business discipline



Value-Add Skills & Experiences



Experience with CPQ Technology
Experience with CRM, ERP, and eCommerce Technology
BI and Analytics/Reporting Tools
CSS Knowledge
Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
JavaScript Experience
Experience with Pricing and Revenue Optimization Technology
Database Experience (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
