Technical Sales Head IoT / AR (f/m/d)
Located in France, ideally Paris or Toulouse areas

Looking for a managing & technical role within innovative IoT & AR fields?
If you’re a technically, curious and people-oriented team manager, we are looking for you!

Your Team We are a team of field engineers whose role it is to help PTC capture the IoT and AR market opportunity With technical backgrounds & skillsets, we are a strategic component of the sales organization and we support customers and partners in the market In this role you will manage French & Benelux field engineering team (8 people) reporting to the VP of Field Engineering for Western Europe, Middle East, Africa and India
Your Impact You are responsible for managing the team´s focus in alignment with the business goals of the region You help customers understand the value PTC technologies and solutions provide and are committed to helping them realize value You are responsible for developing skills of your team and recruiting in alignment with PTC´s values You will personally handle selected high-value customer engagements You contribute to the development of IoT & AR technologies, especially within industrial digital transformation contexts and share feedback with product management
Your Day-To-Day The day-to day job is a dynamic mixture of management and governance activities, technical presentations, customer meetings, marketing events and team development activities Daily management of your team including planning and staffing projects, project management, handling escalations, effective communication Run and coordinate answers to RFPs, standard and custom demonstrations, proofs of concept and pilot deployments Align with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Partner mgmt. to develop a regional technical strategy that supports both local and company goals Track and report key metrics to communicate to cross-functional teams and executives
Your Skills and Knowledge Master’s degree within Computer Science or Manufacturing, or equivalent Significant (10 years minimum) technical experience, with a background within IoT, AR or MES Successful experience managing a team Track record of partnering with sales managers Positive, outgoing, can-do personality Pragmatic, action and results oriented Well-organized & structured approach to complex situations Political savvy to contribute to and leverage a matrix organization Excellent written & oral communication & negotiation skills in both English & French
