Sellsy was founded in the seaside town of La Rochelle in 2009 with the idea of simplifying online invoicing for businesses; and has quickly grown to offer a suite of CRM, invoicing, proposals, marketing, and customer support software. Our Northern Star is making sure that our customers and every member of their teams can manage all of their customer touch points under one platform.
Today Sellsy is used by over 3700 businesses such as Gucci, Paris Saint Germain and Vinci; and was named France’s 7th fastest growing technology company in the FT1000 in 2018. Just over six months ago Sellsy raised €7 million to help accelerate our growth further afield in the U.K., Germany, and Spain; which is why you will play a crucial role.
You will be on the frontline of our U.K. expansion generating new business opportunities, spotting key partnerships, and contacting key decision makers to demonstrate the pain that Sellsy solves. We already started our UK expansion so you won't be alone and will be benefit from strong marketing investments in order to grow our brand notoriety.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities: **
* Develop and pursue new commercial opportunities
* Identify key influencers in targeted companies and build relationships with them
* Conduct email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach to prospects
* Help build and manage a database of business leads
* Represent Sellsy at trade shows, exhibitions, and events
* Work closely with our Marketing Manager Europe and our Europe Support Team based in La Rochelle
* Achieve set financial targets
**The Ideal International Business Developer Would Have: **
* Native (or really close to it) English, good french would be a plus but not a need
* 3 years experience in B2B sales
* Knowledge of the SaaS environment would be a plus
* Excellent communication and verbal skills
* Confidence, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
* Tech know-how and understanding of the critical role that tech plays in scaling complex operations
