Summary

Sherpany is looking a Regional director with 5-8 years of relevant practical working experience in a sales and/or marketing position, leading a large remote international team (more than 12 employees) of qualified staff, ideally within a fast-paced and dynamic B2B SaaS business environment.

You have a very good understanding of sales and marketing in general and possess an undergraduate degree or an apprenticeship and additional certified qualifications in digital marketing, or in a similar field.

You have a proven and successful ability to guide a regional team to the achievement of their goals and towards growth. As a team leader you would lead by example, be an inspiration to all your colleagues and coach your direct reports in time.

You have a good knowledge of B2B Saas sales and marketing tactics and best practices. You know how to sell in the enterprise world and how to coordinate marketing and sales activities, evaluate channels performance and analyze raw data and information to achieve sustainable growth.

You are able to adapt existing processes to other and new situations. In a fast changing environment you can quickly suggest improvements and analyse process times, process costs and process quality. This helps the marketing team to continuously find new more effective and/or efficient processes.

You are a great communicator within an intercultural environment like ours. You like and can motivate and positively influence others in their interactions. You can teach your sales and marketing colleagues how to communicate to leaders. You maintain constant exchange and intensive networking within the organization and/or with customers and partners.

You like and are able to solve new problems combining known solutions, your analytical, but also practical mindset and the strengths of the regional team.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell:

Define action plans and execute go-to-market strategies in coordination with the VP of Sales & Marketing. Ensure a uniform, streamlined and repeatable process across the marketing and sales functions within the region of competence to generate new business. Implement a customer centric approach to attract, engage and delight customers in the regions where we are present to provide them with a great experience throughout their entire journey and hence fuel word of mouth. Set individual marketing and sales targets and hold your team members accountable of their goals. Review on a weekly / biweekly basis the individual progresses and satisfaction of the team members and sales pipeline. Participate in joint customer calls/meetings with sales team members to coach/support their sales opportunities. Motivate the marketing and sales team to meet individual goals and go beyond expectations also in difficult times, show appreciation also when personally challenged to earn trust. Generate action plans and clear communications to enhance the focus and performance of the regional team. Supervise essential key account acquisition. Support the regional team via coaching, training, daily stand ups, team meetings, and individual face 2 faces. Develop market intelligence by conducting research on markets, competition and customers in coordination with Sales & Marketing Operations and the Core Marketing team. Generate and share comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines. You are involved in the hiring and are responsible of the onboarding of new talents.

Deliverables:

After 3 months,

You have a clear action plan on how to increase our NB acquisition productivity across your region of competence, to address Sherpany's country specific challenges and your team is committed to the plan.

You have the team OKRs, KPIs, commitments and forecast under control and report them on a regular basis to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

You have all team and individual meetings and trainings set up and run them on a regular basis.

You have launched in coordination with your regional teams one integrated campaign.

The sales and sdr team is using Salesforce to track their performance and have all their activities and stages recorded and tidely organised.

After 6 months,



You are driving new business across all countries within your responsibility and have hit the semester target.

In coordination with the Sales & Marketing operations you have finalised for all countries a Sales playbook.

You have reviewed and improved the onboarding framework for all new talents.

After 12 months,

You have achieved the yearly goals in your team.

You secured a annual new business growth rate of at least 50%

You secured an annual SQL growth rate of at least 50%

You managed to reduce the cost/new business ratio by 20%

You have developed a systematic, repeatable approach to generate NB throughout the different countries where we are present.

You have prepared country specific market researches and action plans.
