Job Summary:

Spredfast is growing its team in France and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team. This role is based in Paris based out of the new Spredfast office and will work with the local team in Paris and across the EMEA region.

The Strategic Sales Director is responsible for the two most strategic initiatives within the Spredfast customer base, Keep and Grow. Drive all revenue from our current customer base (software renewals, upsell software, cross sell software and new strategic services) across Europe. Laser focused on quarter over quarter forecasting deal pipeline, growth, closed business, pipeline growth, and customer buying strategies. Must work closely with customer partners, and services teams to ensure best in class renewal rates and growth.

Responsibilities:

Manage a highly consultative, complex sales cycle. Managing and closing a quarterly pipeline of renewals for a set territory. This includes outbound calling to renewals, qualifying the likelihood of the renewal, identifying upsells/cross-sells and services and managing the contract from creation to close. Focus on new business growth and development by working with our customers to increase their revenue commitment to Spredfast through upsells/cross-sells and service offerings. Manage and provide transparency and visibility into an accurate pipeline. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for both retention and upsell. Work closely with customers to understand their ongoing business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs. Understanding the customer’s strategic initiatives around social and digital marketing. Mapping an organizational structure allowing for strategic growth and aligning with the Spredfast product set and capabilities. Effectively creates and articulates ROI in the negotiation process to bring the upmost value to both the customer and Spredfast Be adept at cultivating, evaluating, and negotiating sound agreements including legal provisions. Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within team environment. Develop deep relationships with customers, maintaining the customer asset for the long term. Overseas and local travel is required. -------------

Requirements:

Business proficiency in French and /or German a considerable advantage. Ability to generate, qualify and execute on opportunities and renewals in order to exceed revenue targets Bachelors degree or equivalent required as a minimum Approximately 5 years of direct sales experience with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding assigned individual quota Proven ability to articulate a vision that resonates with the customer and demonstrates value Builds a trusted and long lasting relationship with multiple customer executives and positions Spredfast as a strategic advisor Brings a strong understanding of business practices, industry trends and competitors to each sales cycle Demonstrates passion and energy both externally with the customer and internally with cross functional teams Consistently builds and manages an effective pipeline and communicates proactively with leadership throughout each phase of the sales process Effectively creates and articulates ROI in the negotiation process to bring the upmost value to both the customer and Spredfast ----------------------
