This assignment is based in Singapore. The jobholder will be part of the commercial organization of STELIA Aerospace Cabin Interior Business Unit and will report to the Vice President Sales & Marketing. Frequent travel within the sales region is to be expected
Within the framework of objectives and priorities set by STELIA Aerospace commercial management, the jobholder is responsible for the placement of STELIA Aerospace cabin interiors products (First class and Business class seats) within Asia Pacific (APACO) - the assigned sales region by the coordinated use of all resources available.The jobholder will also have responsibility on the operational management of the sales representative office in Singapore
Develop a thorough knowledge of the assigned sales region :
Identify potential buyers: Set up a network of prospects and airlines customersDevelop marketing concepts, tactics and incentives adapted to the sales region to acquire additional businessSupport and participate to marketing initiatives such as events, conference, exhibitions...
Conduct Sales campaigns:
Plan commercial activities in line with priorities, objectives and timescales established by managementDevelop innovative sales packaging approach, with the aim of optimizing the efficiency and profitability of the deal proposed for both parties benefitAnticipate risks and issues which may affect sales campaignsObtain support from all relevant expertsEnsure proper and efficient involvement of STELIA Aerospace senior management if and when their contribution to a campaign is necessary;
Maintain the customer relationships after contract's signature:
Advise customers on and stimulate potential new requirements for the benefit of STELIA AerospaceWatch customers' economic and financial shape with the view to give to the commercial management advance warning and reports in case of problems or defaultsAssist in devising appropriate solutions to problems, if any, and in their settlement with customers
Manage the STELIA Aerospace Singapore office and the sales operation within APACO region:
Be the communication interface and ensure the implementation of the logistic and administrative tools necessary to run the officeSet up and advise the appropriate set of action to maintain and develop the local presence of STELIA Aerospace in APACOProvide the appropriate reporting to STELIA Aerospace headoffice for the sales/operational activity of the officeCoordinate the communication and actions of the local STELIA Aerospace team towards the customers within the region
MAIN RESULTS
Build up a network of airlines prospects within the Sales Region
Provide timely and reliable up-to-date market information, on which recommendations can be made for senior management decisions
Identify realistic sales opportunities and commercial elements key for a successful negotiation
Support the placement of STELIA Aerospace cabin interiors productsA proven experience in the aerospace sales environment if possible in the cabin/seat BFE businessSound understanding of commerce, economics & financeFluent in English and FrenchTeam-player, with good cooperation skillsBroad culture, facilitating adaptationExcellent relational skills, enabling him/her to adapt to various social milieu and circumstances and to be a “door-opener”Good listener, able to understand interlocutors' perceptionPro-active and creativeAvailable and prepared for absences away from base (Singapore) at short notice
