For our innovative MAKO robotics system, we are looking for an Associate Key Account Manager to be responsible for representing Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by promoting our capital equipment to a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals, while honing your skills to assume all aspects of accountabilities. You will increase sales and develop Stryker’s customer relationships by supporting existing accounts and building new accounts through the identification of new customers in the territory.
The MAKO robot enables surgeons to have a more predictable surgical experience when performing joint replacement surgery (hip, knee). With your executive C-Suite selling experience background (CEO/CFO/COO of hospitals), you create the strategies and selling tools for the MAKO business in France. It is key element of this role to collaborate closely with the Key Account Managers, Clinical Specialists, Marketing Team, and other internal organization to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization.

Your key responsibilities :
You are a part of the cross functional team that executes the sales cycle, as well as post sale installation and training activities at customer site.
You help to transition “ownership” of account to the MPS clinical organization and Joint Replacement.
You build and manage, a “funnel” of capital sales opportunities sufficient to ensure that annual quotas are met or exceeded.
You manage, and close capital sales cycles for products that sell for greater than $800,000.
You sell a breakthrough technology and establish a new marketplace.
You collaborate effectively with marketing and sales management to build the strategies and selling tools that will further support increased selling effectiveness.
You learn how to move sales through a budgeted and more importantly, an off-budget process and how to be comfortable and facile with the use of financing and leasing products to close business.
You submit consistent and timely reporting of sales opportunities; lead follow up and forecasts and other reporting as required.
You attend sales training meetings, as well as trade shows and other events that would tend to promote and give visibility to the companies’ products.
What are we looking for ?
You have already gained comprehensive experience in a direct sales role with a preferred focus on surgical or medical capital equipment.
You do have a good understanding of the financial operations of hospitals.
You bring in the ability to interact with surgeons and allied healthcare professionals.
You find it easy to build and maintain relationships with your customers; preferred experience in developing relationships with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas.
You are a smart communicator and presenter – also for a bigger audience.
You are strong in thinking analytical and strategical.
You are self-motivated and persevere.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, verbal and written in French and English.
75% plus travel throughout France is required.
