Title: Senior Manager Solution Marketing and Sales Enablement

Job Type: Permanent

Location: UK-Theale or UK-Paris Garden


Role:

To articulate compelling differentiated value propositions and messaging hierarchy that align our Sungard AS corporate go to market approach. To aid Sales’ understanding of Sungard AS’ position and solution value propositions through meaningful and digest-able toolkits; learning and development activity; Community self-access; and direct communication. To be the internal champion of our portfolio and solution dialogue, promoting knowledge and fostering message and campaign consistency within the global marketing organization and throughout the Sungard AS organization.

Responsibilities:

Interface with Product Management, Marketing leadership, Learning and Development and Sales as primary lead for assigned portfolios GTM plans including, business value frameworks, market assessments, product naming, appropriate GTM marketing and sales enablement content and activity. Lead the development of global go to market messaging and positioning for assigned portfolios and go-to-market initiatives and serve as subject matter expert to extended marketing teams on messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies. Deliver and measure global marketing content and sales enablement tools and training materials in alignment with assigned portfolios and sales revenue acceleration initiatives and targets. Including presentations, solution stories, battlecards, training courses, web content and other materials as required. Communicate, evangelize and drive engagement with collateral and tools through Community, L&D activity, Sales Advisory Boards and direct communication including sales meetings, newsletters and online multimedia. Support and occasionally represent Sungard AS to drive awareness relative to assigned portfolios with media and at events, speaking engagements and social media; Support key public relations, analyst relations and lead generation strategies to increase market awareness, in-year revenue optimization and multi-year pipeline development; Serve as a marketing subject matter expert for Analyst engagement (i.e. Gartner Magic Quadrant) and for media and industry award submissions. Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a collegiate manner at all times and in line with the Company’s values.

Profile:

Educated to degree level in a related field. Essential. Masters in Business and Administration. Desirable. Firm understanding of customer needs in the IT services marketplace. Essential. Experience in developing and supporting content development, which may include persona and industry-based messages, for multi-phased buyers journey (awareness, consideration, decision, advocacy).. Essential. Market knowledge (vendors, technologies, market drivers, etc.) in the areas of recovery services, datacenter & infrastructure services. Essential. Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, including strong experience in service provider-focused Product or Solutions Marketing including Sales enablement activity.. Essential. Proven ability to lead cross functional teams in launch efforts, including sales, regional marketing, AR, PR, agencies and vendors, product management, etc. Essential. Strong sales-facing written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to present to VP/C-level both internally and externally. Essential. Aptitude for strategy and dedication to execution. Essential. Penchant and passion for embracing change, identifying opportunities and shaping outcomes, and breaking new ground. Essential. Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally on occasion. Essential. Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and complete BS7858 British standard screening prior to joining company.
