Your focus as a Strategic Key Account Manager
Own the largest opportunity accounts in Europe
Develop and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders to renew and expand financial partnership.
Hunt for New Business opportunities in the French market through targeted outbound and selective inbound activities.
Increase account and market penetration – with a focus on Tradeshows, Conferences and Congresses
Increase client satisfaction to 80% (with customer success team)
Secure client portfolio and eliminate competitor threat
What you'll be doing:
As owner of the highest value/opportunity accounts expectation will be that you set the standard in administration, consultative selling and exec engagement (internally as well externally).
Strategic accounts may extend beyond local territory should it be deemed appropriate and with a view to maximise focus and mutual value derived from the account.
Adoption and development of best practices for Account penetration and development will be a big part of this role as we seek to further understand how to retain and grow our highest profile target accounts.
Results both financial and leverage are critical to the success of this role. Reliable forecasting and deal transparency as well as reference case development and roadmap inputs will form part of the measures of success for performance assessment.
Support peer development programmes through mentoring and coaching initiatives. Act as an example when given direction from Leadership, by constructively challenging where appropriate and executing direction with excellence.
Your Profile:
Must be disciplined to dedicate time to both high value Account Renewals as well as hunting New Business
Fluent in French and English – Other languages are a plus
Exceptional comfort while speaking on the phone
Exceptional communication, listening and presentation skills
Persistent, optimistic & charismatic!
5+ years of Sales experience
History of achieving sales targets
3+ years of Event Industry experience
