Job Overview



TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for promoting TE's Sensor products, within an assigned customer base in France focusing on relationship building and understanding the customers challenges.

Home based in France, you will act as the focal point for all sales and project related topics for our Industrial customers in the region.   

Emphasis will also be placed on developing & maintaining existing relationships with both the commercial teams and the design engineering departments and will be supported by local Field Application Engineers (FAE) who will provide the technical support to the customer.


Job Responsibilities  

As an account manager you will maintain a high level of awareness within the customer to identify sensor opportunities.

You will be required to obtain new opportunities/projects, be responsible for increasing market share and along with the FAE manage the project pipeline for your dedicated customer base. You will work with TE Product Managers and Business Development Teams to help you drive sales growth within your customer base.

The typical activities of the position will cover : 

•    Build customer relationships through dedicated customer accounts   

•    Stay in permanent direct contact (visits, email, phone) with the customer to ensure on-going support and communication   

•    With the FAE team, promote TE Connectivity Sensor portfolio to the customer  

•    Identify Sales opportunities and converting into won business   

•    Sales Forecasting  

•    Reporting of Sales figures and Project Status   

•    Price negotiation and providing quotations   

•    Weekly travels 





What your background should look like:


•    Degree in Business Management, Sales or Management 

•    Internship or apprenticeship in sales in an industrial environment is preferred  

•    Professional French and English in written and verbal form is required

•    Excellent organizational skills,  Flexibility and a willingness to travel within France

•    Self-motivated, Strong communication, selling, negotiation and presentation skills   

•    Customer and results driven   

Travel frequency: >50%
