Within Tractebel Advisory & Advanced Analytics (T3A), the Advanced Analytics department offers a wide range of expertise: Optimization Bucket Identification, Operation Research (model-based optimization), Machine Learning (data-based optimization, artificial intelligence), Data Visualization (unlocking the value generated for the customer). T3A Advisory is specialized in technical and economic optimization, aiming to offer a direct impact on the financial balance of our customers: Predictive maintenance (Wind, Solar, Hydro Production, Industry ...), urban networks of heat and cold, electricity transmission and distribution networks, optimization of smart grids (smart grids taking into account electric vehicles and mobility), optimization of the commercial fleet, storage of gas, energy trading, etc.
T3A works in project mode throughout the entire value chain, from understanding customer’s needs to industrialization at the customer.

Sales manager – Advisory & Advanced Analytics

Your function
You belong to the Tractebel Advisory & Advanced Analytics (T3A) team, based in France (Gennevilliers) and expert on transaction advisory services. You are also part of the global Sales team of T3A, coordinated from Brussels. You are responsible for the submission of attractive and innovative tenders and for securing new contracts You understand clients’ needs and translate them in the right strategy to build a winning tender: pricing, selection of suitable partners and subcontractors, selection of the right project team, etc. You lead the tender preparation and coordinate with the technical bid manager and sales assistant You lead the development of standardized technical approaches You coordinate with internal stakeholders (T3A experts, legal department, risk officer, tax advisors, H&S officer, other Tractebel entities etc.) You interact with external stakeholders (client, partners, subcontractors…) and build complementary partnerships that make the difference You are in charge of writing of the commercial parts of tenders You respect relevant Tractebel quality management processes (e.g. ethics checks, Health & Safety checks, embargo procedure, Go/NoGos, bid reviews, risk management committees, etc.) After tender submission, you follow up with the client until final negotiation and contract signature. Once a project is awarded, you organize a handover to the project manager You share knowledge and experience with your colleagues within the Sales team to improve the quality of the offers, the sales process and tools You participate to regular commercial conference calls with the commercial team and the management to follow up the new leads and offers and to discuss the Expressions of Interest and offers in preparation You participate to the coordination meetings with colleagues from different T3A-Tractebel entities (e.g. Belgium, Germany, Romania, Italy mainly) You support the Business Development & Sales Director in the definition of the strategy, the competition watch, and the preparation of commercial presentations

Qualifications

Qualifications You have a Master Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent You have a background and affinity with Energy & Consulting. Transaction advisory experience or affinity is an asset You have 5 years of relevant experience in a similar commercial position You have an excellent knowledge of French and English .
