Internship in Translation Account Management

Position Summary:

Opportunity to shadow and work alongside the client solutions teams in our city centre offices. TransPerfect is a leading provider of global business solutions, working with 95% of the Global Fortune 1000. Position responsibilities:

Work alongside our dynamic Client Services Team managing different types of accounts and projects (Web, E-Learning, and Media)
Provide support related to strategic project management for interesting web or e-learning-based projects from project kick-off to project delivery.
Shadow the team on the calls with clients, internal teams and partners, etc.
Participate in analyzing and preparing client offers
Collaborate with various members of the Production team to assess the scope of work and produce cost and timeline estimates for client requests.
Monitor and communicate project progress, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and budgets
Assist in ensuring the production of high-level quality deliverables and QA final files
Comply with internal regulations and processes in line with ISO standards
Perform administrative, back office-related tasks such as billing reports and invoices, creating KPIs and client presentations

Essential skills and experience required:

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, in other languages, would be an asset, particularly in German.

University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
Acute attention to scope and detail and the ability to multitask
Ability to maintain professionalism and focus to meet deadlines and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows) and comfortable with changing technology.

Desirable skills:

Experience in the translation and localization industry
Project management experience.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize activities on a daily basis to accomplish project goals.
Ability to support multiple projects and manage shifting priorities, while keeping accurate track of each status and deadline.
Ability to generate and maintain budgets and schedules.
Positive attitude in the face of change, client-centered mindset, and pro-active approach to problem avoidance and resolution.
