Responsibilities

The Pre-Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and coaching the local France based team of Commercial System Engineers, who play a key role in meeting regional sales objectives.

The primary focus of this role will be to continue building and cultivating a world class System Engineering team within the France and Africa Region, develop and maintain relationships with regional sales management and drive outstanding quantifiable results.

Job Functions:

Ensure the availability of pre-sales resources to support the sales team Work closely with sales managers to achieve key sales objectives, such as, but not limited to, quota achievement and lead generation Resource allocation to make sure sales objectives are met, including vacation scheduling and coordinating Pre-Sales field travel Participate to the recruitment activities and onboarding activities, in conjunction with the regional Presales leader Coach and develop team members Work closely with sales managers to design effective training programs for sales team members Act as role model for the Pre-Sales team, taking active part in the day to day work including webinars, POCs, and customer and partner interaction Generate employee performance metrics Hold/Chair Weekly meetings Consistently share successes, best practices and expertise across Pre-Sales community globally Engage peer organizations to resolve customer issues Foster the adoption of technologies, methods and processes to advance communication capabilities Conduct frequent, regular one on one sessions with each team member with focus on personal and professional development Drive constant incremental improvement across the organization Flexibility to travel as well as attend regional meetings and events

Job Requirements:

Proven pedigree in customer facing positions in software industry Quantifiable personal impacts on the sales/revenue results and individual contributor growth Strong cross functional project management skills Strong presentation skills in both business and technical areas Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated and verified strong customer and partner relationships Team player, actively encouraging a collaborative environment Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly Bachelor’s degree with preference towards engineering or computer science or relevant vocational training with extended job experience Business French and English language skills
