You will be fully responsible for the sales of
Gore’s high quality, innovative General Surgery medical device product
portfolio in central and southern France, including the GORE® BIO-A® Tissue
Reinforcement and GORE® SEAMGUARD® Bioabsorbable Staple Line Reinforcement
products.
This is an exciting opportunity
where you will focus your energy on managing and growing our current business
within the territory, as well as actively acquiring and developing new
customers to maximise profitable sales. In this dynamic role, you will
proactively build strong relationships with General, Bariatric, Thoracic and
Colorectal surgeons, as well as attend surgical procedures, provide clinical
product training and conduct product presentations. In addition you will manage
and support our local agents to ensure they have the knowledge and motivation
to promote and sell Gore’s GSP portfolio of products. Furthermore you will be
responsible for all aspects of managing sales including sales forecasting and
allocation of investment budgets. You will attend international and regional
congresses and implement local sales promotion activities. Your strong
commercial skills will assist you in your dealings with a range of contact
points within public and private hospital administrations and their purchasing
departments. To be successful in Gore's unique culture you need to be an
excellent relationship builder, an able and open communicator, and intrinsically
motivated to do the right thing. This is a broad role where you will have full
responsibility for the management of your territory.
Qualifications
Passionate about and experienced in medical device sales – ideally within the General Surgery or Bariatric field
Strong commercial skills including the ability to negotiate and influence
Proactive, self-motivated and positive
Proven ability to prioritise and drive the business to success
Natural team-playing qualities suited to interacting with colleagues in France and across Europe on a regular basis, and ideally experienced in managing agents
Willing to undertake travel in France and also internationally to sales meetings, conferences and training
Located near a major airport, fluent French and good English are required
