We are looking for an individual with vast knowledge in Commercial and Business Law, dealing in an international environment, to join us as a Senior Commercial Lawyer. You will be primarily responsible for assisting and overseeing business units and their compliance with the corporate processes. You should be able to help businesses in reviewing and drafting contracts.

As a Commercial Lawyer, you should be able to offer internal clients with sound advice on various contracts for business. Moreover, you should be able to help clients with any issues related to business transactions.

To be a successful Commercial and Business Lawyer, you should be focused on protecting the reputation and assets of the company. You should be detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and persuasive, with excellent communication skills.

The main job responsibilities and requirements are the following :

Assisting businesses to prevent, navigate, and resolve complex legal issues.
Assisting and advising businesses on establishing their company's structure, policies, objectives, and procedures for their business operations.
Ensuring all relevant laws and outcomes are understood and obeyed by businesses.
Researching and resolving legal disputes through the analysis of relevant laws, argument development, evidence collection, and legal representation.
Drafting, reviewing, completing, and filing legal paperwork related to business operations.
Examining and reporting any potential or existing legal issues to the relevant authorities.
Negotiating contract terms, transactions, and settlements on behalf of the businesses involved.
Ensuring all business processes, strategies, and actions comply with all relevant local, state, federal, and international laws.
Managing multiple clients, cases, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines.

Requirements for the role :

Graduated from a Master of Law, LLM with double cursus in French, UK, German or US Law with minimum 7 years of work experience (ideally 10) as an International Commercial Lawyer in a reputed Law firm or the industry ;
Your English level is fluent. German language knowledge would be much appreciated.
You are able to conduct extensive research and having a detail-oriented approach
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
You are also a good communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively, you handle stressful situations and perform under pressure
Highly motivated and reliable individual, you are able to make sound judgements
