Reaching an audience of over 1 million industry professionals across the globe every month, the Global Brands division delivers cutting edge multi-channel content across the food, nutrition, feed, cosmetics and pharma industries. Brands like FoodNavigator, NutraIngredients, CosmeticsDesign, Outsourcing-Pharma and the Probiota conference series are the industry recognised leaders in their respective fields.
The division has produced healthy revenue growth every year since its inception in 2000 and now boasts a dynamic, multilingual and truly international team across the UK, France, USA and Singapore.
We are currently recruiting for the role of ‘Commercial Director – EMEA’. Based in our Montpellier office in the south of France, the role will enable you to lead and further develop a European sales team with a proven track record across multiple industries, while collaborating closely with your counterparts in the US and Asia and working with divisional management on longer term business strategy.
You will have at your disposal one of the richest portfolios of digital marketing products and targeted F2F solutions in the international B2B sector. Our solutions lend themselves to a consultative and creative sales process where deep and rewarding client relationships can be forged.

Core responsibilities
Grow European team revenues and client base, driving your team to exceed budget targets in a manner consistent with commercial policy and brand strategyCoach and develop your team to help them achieve their full potential and compete effectively in their marketsLead by example as a player coach, excelling in your personal sales approach and revenue achievements on a small number of accountsBuild and nurture strong customer relationshipsCollaborate closely with your regional peers in the US and Asia, striving for a harmonised approach with the division’s global interests at heartWork closely with divisional management on strategic initiatives and longer term goalsCommunicate business strategy, direction and key updates to your team on a regular basisRequired experience and skills
A good understanding of digital B2B media and F2F event dynamicsPrevious experience in a sales team management role, ideally within a media environmentAn excellent track record in surpassing targetsAn ability and enthusiasm to inspire and lead a sales teamAn ability to identify and map new business opportunitiesStrong networking and client facing skillsEmpathetic and personableAdaptable to different personalities and challengesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong attention to detailA good understanding of budgeting and financial planningAvailable for international travelDoes this role speak to your ambitions and qualities?
