Position Job Title: Finance Business Process Expert


BG and BU: Amcor Flexibles EMEA

Work contract Legal Entity: Contract will be issued accordingly with legal requirements and legal entity of the hiring country

Job Purpose


The business transformation team is responsible for end-to-end business process standardization and improvement, ensuring effective and efficient business process developed and deployed by:



Collaborating cross functionally to review financial business processes to identify opportunities to minimize complexity and maximize efficiency
Supporting and sustaining the implementation of business process standardization and improvement initiatives
Executing process audits to maintain end- to-end process discipline, ensuring we generate the full benefit of Polaris automation and standardization
Identifying further process automation opportunities using new technologies
Specific focus on finance and Chart of Account mapping
Support the CFIN (SAP4Hana) implementation and deployment program

Principal Accountabilities


Key activities


FI BPE has multifunctional knowledge and supports solution deployment across site BU and BG. Works across functions to ensure full understanding of business requirements and opportunities and makes recommendations to BPO re changes / enhancements. Leads DAB (Development Acceptance Board) requests and the analysis of options while also engaged in roll back enhancements to sites. Advises experts and Specialist re process to support development. Works with external consultants to enable ERP system deployments and ensure solution meets business needs. Drives the ADOPT not ADAPT methodology. Manages medium and supports large project delivery across workstreams, acts as advisor to large project PM.



Based on strong process experience and knowledge, run large non strategic projects, as well as medium complexity projects within the FICO (Finance Controlling) workstream to enable process improvements and larger strategic projects
Develop Sustainable Finance Key User network which will be key to review potential improvement opportunities, test solutions and support ERP deployment across the business
Manage external consultants to ensure delivery of business required solutions, while validating the work to ensure compliant and sustainable
Participate in Health Check review process and the implementation of changes and training as required to enable site full utilization of tools provided

Major Challenges & Complexities



He / She will primarily work in processes and systems associated with Master Data, AP, AR, C+C , Accounting and Controlling.  Propose amendments and options to ensure optimisation, automation and process standardisation
Will be key contact within finance to ensure maximum benefit derived from processes, act as governance re change requests.
Either support or present DAB requests improving the Finance workstream across the BG
Work with the finance teams to ensure he/she understand improvements made and ensuring a CI methodology in place

Qualifications/Requirements


Formal Qualifications and Experience

5 plus years’ experience in process development and enhancements
Professional finance qualification CIMA, ACCA, CPA is an asset
5 plus years’ experience working within a finance department covering reporting and transactional activities
Experience in balance sheets, P&L, and APEX is an asset
Good knowledge of chart of accounts
Strong project management & networking skills

Language

English is required as it is the project language
Knowledge of French or any additional European languages would be beneficial
