Project Manager - Finance & Investment Accounting








AXA Group Operations is the IT solutions and business consulting provider of AXA Group, one of the world's leading insurance and financial protection companies.


Working for the different companies of the AXA group, AXA GO has a worldwide action field with offices in several countries across the globe.



Within AXA Group Operations, the job holder will be reporting to the Manager of the “Investment Accounting & FBPM Design Authority” team located in Paris and will work on :



Investment Accounting Product - AXA SAP platform - which is providing Investment Accounting services to AXA entities
FBPM Product - based on Appian low code technology - which manages the life cycle of Financial workflows and optimize business processes


The Business Expert provides solution support to Local Finance teams as part of a team located in 10 European countries, Japan, Hong Kong, Philipinnes, Indonesia and US. The Business Expert will be the main point of contact for the assigned country(ies) and will address topics from all countries for her/his domain.



In parralel, he works closely with the SAP Solution Center who is accountable for the service delivery to the shared AXA SAP platform. SAP Solution center is a shared pool of resources with skills in SAP Financial modules delivering Maintenance Services, Small Changes and Product evolution.




Job responsibilities:


1 - Provide Local Support to users



User assistance: Questions and answers, ad hoc requests
Incidents: First level of diagnosis and coordination of local investigations (Other systems, Local IT, SME, AXA TECH….) checking the right severity levels and challenge them if needed.
Small changes: Gather local requests, check severity levels, assess solution impacts and sizing, core and standard alternatives, contribute to review committees and lead qualification committees


2 - Administrate local Portfolio and ticketing tool (Silva), track outputs and resolutions



Support user to raise incidents and small changes in Silva with the required detailed description and quality, address questions & answers
Track Silva tickets until their resolution and communicate back to the users on resolution actions
Mobilize and support business for them to perform UAT and close the tickets.
Contribute to weekly meetings with production daily activities (LOA) Service Management team to review status, update plans and update priorities.
Participate in the Service LOA Committees, as well as in the ad hoc meetings required
Support Central business (PBRC) and local (Countries) users on the closings


3 - Deliver the functional design of the local features and requirements



Liaise with Finance representatives (Process Owners mainly)
Get support from Central Demand/Supply teams in Lisbon with Solution Expertise


4 - Contribute to small change deployments



Coordinate gathering of requirements and local impacts analysis
Support performance of Solution test or UAT (communication, tests plans, test data)
Update training materials and review local usage


5 – Project Management



Manage the project with governance organization and lead, budget monitoring, planning follow-up and milestone alignment
Bring expert knowledge on Business side
Coordinate gathering of requirements and local impacts analysis
Support performance of Solution test or UAT (communication, tests plans, test data)
Update training materials and review local usage



Job qualifications


Technical Skills



Business Analysis or Business Support around Application Maintenance (Demand) experience
Capability to develop knowledge around an IT solution to interact with Development team for example
Knowledge on Financial Instruments, Asset servicing, Data Management or on Local Investment Accounting and IFRS Investment Accounting and Reporting as this is the scope of the SHIP platform and needed to interact efficiently with business counterparts

Non-technical skills



Ability to work in complex environments (multi-cultural/multi-country/geographically distributed team)
Ability to anticipate issues and react promptly
Excellent Communication skills
Ability to take ownership of problems and issues, and manage to resolution



Experienced required



Experience in SAP Financial Asset Management is a plus
Experience of LOA service delivery in BAU mode for solution implemented in several countries is a plus.
Hands-on LOA experience in IT services, consulting or in IT department of a large international company is a plus
Knowledge on APPIAN is a plus.
