Finance Planning and Analysis Manager Europe
The Europe FP&A team is in charge of :
Improving the region’s financial performance and cash generation
Monitoring, planning and reporting of the region’s financial performance (monthly closing, forecast, budget and strategic plan)
Coordinating and animating the network of countries’ finance managers & controllers
Controlling material margin and be a link between Sales & purchasing and the countries’ finance team
Be a link between the PO group, CES Division, and the countries’ finance team
At this stage, the FP&A Europe Manager manages a team including (2 controllers + Alternants)
1 material margin controller
1 cash controller
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Reporting
Consolidate and analyze financial reporting from European entities for monthly close, forecast, budget and strat plan.
Follow and consolidate Capital Expenditure (CAPEX)
Follow and consolidate cash reportings and forecast, overdues, inventories
Consolidate the sales and purchasing reportings (monthly close, forecast, budget and strat plan)
Cash management
Coordinate and animate the network of Countries finance managers and customer centers to reduce overdues, forex exposure
Monitor cash management with Purchasing, the countries finance managers, the Division’s finance team and the Group Treasury
Coordinate and animate the network of Countries finance managers in relationship with program controllers to ensure efficient conversion of tooling to Cash
Improve cash forecast accuracy
Material margin
Coordinate volume reporting and forecast
Animate the Sales and Purchasing network to consolidate and control sales and purchasing assumptions for the Forecast, budget and strat plan and share with the countries
Support the countries in using the sales and marketing assumptions for Forecast, budget and strat plan
Analyse, report, forecast of material margin & squeeze.
Liaise with the Division’s Material margin controller
Improve or develop the tools to monitor sales and purchasing performance and assumptions
Challenge the sales and purchasing functions and support them in providing reporting and ad hoc support
General
Be a link between the PO group, the Division and the countries finance team for any financial project (process improvement, new rules implementation, new tools)
Support the application of Corporate accounting standards (IFRS) in subsidiaries within the region
Liaise with Corporate and local financial controllers for any legal and taxation issues.
Develop new reporting/controlling tools together with IT teams, to support Europe management at all levels and improve overall process efficiency within EU FIN.
Provide support to other positions as needed.

PROFIL
Personal Background
Business school or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Master degree in Finance.
Must have held senior level financial position for last 3 years.
Over all Finance experience 8-12 years
Job Technical skills
Experience in accounting, costing, pricing, and financial reporting.
International automotive exposure,
SAP know-how
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and common applications used in office.
Ability to maintain working relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data
