Finance Associate Manager
As part of the Stryker Montbonnot local Finance team, and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will participate to day-to-day controlling activities, monthly reporting process, annual budget and standard costing campaigns. In addition, the role will also be to assist the Finance Manager in the strategic accounting, legal and tax areas. All these activities are to be performed in the Stryker compliance framework.
What you will do:
Business support
Support the operations on day-to-day activities and ad-hoc projects.
Reporting
Participate to month-end-close, annual budget, quarterly forecasts and cost roll processes.
Analyze P&L variances, explain differences, identifies errors and communicate proactively.
Coordinate accounting/issue resolution with Finance Shared Service Center.
Initiate and drive continuous process improvements.
Work on ad-hoc analysis and projects.
Compliance
Participate in external and internal audit.
Perform and document monthly controls (SOX, accounts reconciliation…).
Participate in Balance Sheet review, analyze variances and identify errors and proactively drive their correction.
Take ownership of actions resulting from annual assessment and drive continuous improvement of his/her processes.
Legal and Statutory:
Prepare and submit the statutory FR GAAP journal entries and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Assist the finance manager in the coordination of Financial Statements, Tax returns and annual legal documentation preparation (involving accounting shared service center and external counsels).
Participate to tax audits.
What you need:
Masters Degree in Controlling, Accounting, Finance or Audit.
Fluent in English and French.
Minimum 6+ years of work experience mandatory, and where experience in audit would be a highly prefered.
Experience in a manufacturing finance environment is a big plus (preferably in an international company with matrix environment).
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and to summarize complex issues.
Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
Problem solving skills: Ability to analyze and understand complex issues and suggest solutions.
FR Gaap/tax accounting knowledge.
Ability to work in autonomy.
Advanced level of Excel, mandatory.
HFM Experience is a plus.
JDE ERP system knowledge is a plus.
