PURPOSE & SCOPE OF ROLE:

Commercial Finance & RGM function oversees the entire Beam Suntory Portfolio products sold in France across all customer and channels from a profitability perspective

The Senior Finance Analyst partners with functions such as Sales, Marketing and Trade Marketing but also with Brand Houses and specifically Revenue Management team. Besides them, it will have close interfaces with Commercial, Supply Chain & Controlling and GBS

Key areas of focus for Senior Finance Analyst include the following:

Participate in providing high quality reporting and analysis regarding brands & customer performance
Perform a robust month end close process within the reporting deadlines
Perform the necessary systems configuration to ensure the accurate trade terms and conditions accruals
Participate in delivering financial forecasts and budgets in accordance with timetables
Collaborate actively during planning process making sure loadings and systems are ready
Support France in case of issues playing the role of dealing items with IT as required
Cooperate and participate in preparation of monthly and quarterly Management reporting packages, including insightful analytics and commentary for efficient decision making
Participate in key projects (S&OP & SAP implementation)
Ad-hoc financial analysis ad request

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide accurate actuals and forecast data along with due analysis and commentary to Head of Finance France
Support Sales team by providing financial support in developing business strategy, sustainable growth, managing and improving profitability and compliance
Participate in preparing high quality analysis on brands and customers performance, promotion ROI and trade investments tracking
Support the Sales team on pricing (incl. trade terms), customer negotiation and profitability, budget and risks management
Ensure that trade terms and conditions are correctly configured in the system, TTC accruals are correct and regular controls are performed
Support the regional FP&A and Finance teams in forecasting, budgeting and general guidance
Provide financial support for strategic decisions relevant to France
Participate in managing yearly forecast as part of S&OP process
Collaborate with IT in terms of UAT making sure systems are working during V2V and S&OP implementation
Track risks and opportunities outside of the forecast for France

Excellent commercial knowledge and capabilities

IT capable and comfortable with sophisticated database/ reporting tools and excel to generate management reports
Experience in an international business in analysis (financial and commercial), strategic planning, budgeting and rolling forecasting processes

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree qualified with relevant Accounting/Business/Finance qualification
5 years of diversified finance/consulting experience, preferably including experience within a multinational consumer products business
Fluent in English & French
