Get to know the Finance Talent Program By means of the Talent Program in Finance, Umicore wants to attract young talents who will develop into Umicore Manager's profiles within the Finance, Controlling organization . As a Young Talent you will contribute to two different projects during 2 years in different business units or sites within the group, including Corporate Finance functions . By the end of those projects you will be coached towards a role that is in line with your personality and interests within the broad business spectrum of the Umicore organization. All projects will help you to go through an intensive learning program to build up strong business skills and be part of our future business leaders. You will benefit from a custom-made development plan and get support from the young talent - networking - and onboarding manager during the entire program. What you will be doing As Finance Talent Group Controlling - Brussels In this project you will develop your competencies and skills in Performance Management. As part of the team, you will support the delivery of performance analysis, KPIs & reporting to top management (Management Board and Supervisory Board) and contribute to the Digitalization Transformation of the department. As Finance Talent Treasury - Brussels In this project you will give support to the Group Treasury organization, in Europe and/or in APAC regions, and will be involved in numerous initiatives in the fields of financial and credit risk management, financing, treasury systems and organisation. As Finance Talent Business Unit Rechargeable Battery Material (RBM) controlling -Brussels In this project you will give support to the RBM global controlling team in helping to set-up the financial performance analysis of the business unit with a particular focus on assisting the Controlling team to bring the global consolidation & reporting centre of gravity from Seoul to Brussels and the built-out of performance analysis for the starting up of our business in Europe and North America. Who we are looking for You started your career recently and have a few years work experience (max 3) in finance or consulting) or you are a Young graduate with a Master degree (already graduated in 2022 or to obtain in 2023) in (applied) economics, business management, commercial engineering/sciences, or other with a keen interest for finance, accounting, controlling activities, digitalization and process improvements You are fluent in English (and any other local language is a plus) You are (internationally) mobile Analytical, fast and flexible, able to switch priorities is what you are Focused on results, committed, flexible and have positive ‘can do' spirit is what you bring Team player, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, with hands-on mentality and service-minded is what you aim for What we offer We aim to lead the way.
