Description of the job

A vacancy for a Product Owner for Integrated Business Planning has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Center of Competencies (CoC) in Programme and Project Management.

Integrated Business Planning is the process to get a single Aircraft planning reference to accelerate time to market and increase efficiency across the different functions and sites for Aircraft allocation, customization, engineering, manufacturing and Aircraft delivery respecting customer satisfaction, cost / inventory and resources capacity.
You will seek for digital improvement opportunities to improve efficiently the planning optimization, anticipation and the collaboration between stakeholders from Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Finance.
You will contribute to the transformation on Integrated Planning in consistency with the company strategy and in line with business needs

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Ensuring maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the development Team Collecting cross-programme planning team pain points and improvement areas to make sure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives Animating cross-programme planning team workshop to improve current ways of working Defining user stories and prioritize the product backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and functional integrity of the user experience Applying agile best practices all along the product development Establishing product acceptance criteria to secure the right level of quality of the product before delivering it to the end-users Ensuring project Risks and Opportunities managements and securing the required mitigation and realization activities are captured and integrated within the schedule Ensuring and measuring systematic delivery of benefits/added value to our internal customers Reporting on project progress status to top managers Contributing to the change management thanks to appropriate communication materials.
The role will require travel on regular basis to any Airbus production plants and as such you should be able to travel accordingly (once or twice a month).

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Educated to a 5 years degree Experience in Sales & Operation Planning / Integrated Business Planning Good level on planning technics, integration of processes and systems Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies Excellent problem-solving, strong analytical and team-working skills Active listener and pedagogical skills Strong ability to communicate and influence Ability to work in a transnational environment Advanced level of English and French is required. German would be a plus.
