The WTE Quality team is looking for motivated, highly technical Robotics Engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will join the Quality Engineering team responsible for design, fabrication, development, integration, deployment and maintenance of Robotics solutions that enable automated testing of various wireless and non wireless products.

Key Qualifications

Experience in/using python/C/C++ and/or Java
Experience with Arduino
Knowledge/Experience using ROS is a plus
Experience with laser cutting, rapid prototyping tools, SOLIDWORKS & AutoCAD
Knowledge of control systems for building multi-DOF solutions
Proven track record to lead a complete functional area of an application or product
You understand Git and other system softwares
Results oriented and excellent debugging skills
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
In-depth understanding of OS X, Windows and/or Unix
You thrive in a reciprocal environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across many teams
You are obsessively, hard-working and inquisitive, and seek to tackle everyday problems in innovative ways
You are laser-focused on the smallest details that are significant to our customers

Description

You will join a diverse team responsible for development of tools & robotics and application of robotics towards qualification of various products. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for working with several cross functional teams, understanding their requirements, coming up with design, fabrication, integration, development, testing and deployment of custom robotics solutions to meet these requirements.
The engineer for this role is comfortable working a creative team charged with exploring a rapidly evolving domain. You will craft the quality of innovative applications using emerging new technologies

Education & Experience

Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering

Additional Requirements

You should possess the ability to quickly grasp & distill highly sophisticate matters into solutions, delivering clearly detailed test plans. The applicant will be an effective diplomat with strong communication & organizational skills.
