Description


 

Purpose of the Job



The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a start-up or in a tech-driven company, with an entrepreneur mindset, and a proven experience in managing technical products.  Mastering new technologies is a must. We also expect you to be autonomous and able to learn.



The DHP platform product manager is a key role in the organization. He/she will define the roadmap of features for the platform interacting with multiple stakeholders.



The Product Management is responsible for defining and supporting the building of a desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable platform that meet users (customers=healthcare service providers) needs. To do this, he collaborate with a wide range of people to identify and define the platform requirements, understand the solution Context, and develop the roadmap, and features required to meet these needs.



In particular, the platform product manager will interface the DHP business team in charge of defining the DHP strategy and value position (offer) as well as the team facing DHP users (integration teams) to gather the business requirement and frame priorities for the roadmap.



He will interact with engineering, product owners and architects to coordinates activities orchestrated by the SAFE methodology and make sure value is delivered at every program increment.



The platform product manager is leading a teams of product managers and product owners.





Main Responsibilities




Developing a clear model (and KPIs) of how the solution provides value to customers
Understanding the cost structure and in-license models of all components and suppliers
Creating any necessary costing elements and KPIs linked DHP business models
Understand customer needs – leverages market research and Continuous Exploration to understand customer
Ensure product completeness –ensuring the product is considered ‘whole and complete’ from a defined customer’s perspective
Develop and communicate the platform roadmap – Product management continuously develops and communicates the roadmap to the Agile Teams, while defining the features of the system.
Manage and prioritize the flow of work – responsible for ensuring enough features are ready in the backlog at all times
Participate in PI planning – presents the vision, which highlights the proposed features of the solution, along with any relevant upcoming Milestones. responsible for approving PI Objectives and establishing business value
Define releases and program increments – responsible for release definition as well, including new features, architecture, and allocations for technical debt.
Marketing and sales enablement –ensure that marketing and sales have the information they need to communicate value and execute against the sales objectives. This includes the maintenance of the DHP developer portal
Manage a team by setting objectives and manage the career of each staff member

 


Qualifications


 

Expected Skills and Experience




Master’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
10-15 years of product management, ideally for a platform business, ideally in healthcare environment
Strong technical background is a must with proven experience is software development of cloud-based solution (Microsoft Azure a plus)
Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills 
Leadership and the ability to take initiative and to negotiate with stakeholders
Ability to fail fast
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in developing Innovative IT products.
Good client-facing and internal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
Passionate about technology and visionary about new technology applications
Excellent written and verbal English communication. You will do most of your writing in English. Speaking will be English (mandatory) or French.
Ability to work in an international and cross functional organization as a team player
