InfoVista is developing strong ambition in the enterprise market through is solution “Ipanema”. Ipanema is specialized in delivering Applications Visibility in networks but as well acting in networks to guarantee that most business-critical applications meet their performance requirement. This solution has proven values recognized by customers for more than 15 years. More recently, InfoVista has extended Ipanema with SD-WAN and security value proposition in order to better serve end enterprises willing to adopt new networking architecture while still expecting highest performance for critical applications. This extension is also the opportunity to deliver Ipanema in a “cloud first” model.
In that context, InfoVista is looking for strengthen his product management organization with a new “Cloud Services Product Manager”.
Mission
The Ipanema Cloud Services Product Manager owns the product strategy for the Ipanenam cloud Services solution. He / She is responsible to define functional specifications in regards of defined strategic direction, set with the SVP Enterprise Product Strategy. He / She is owning the roadmap and follow milestones with the R&D organization. The cloud Services Product Manager is also responsible to gather market requirement, from customers / partners meeting, competition analysis, conference … and as well, communicate to the field organization.
This is a worldwide position based in Massy, France. 30% of travel (50% of travel in Europe, 50% of travel in any place Rest of the World).
Responsibilities and Duties
Product Strategy
Define Product Functional direction based on defined value proposition InfoVista wants to achieve with its cloud strategy
Owns roadmap update and communication to the field (internal & external)
Support the Product Version Process (from kick-off to General Availability)
Field Support
Train presales on the technical value proposition
Support RFP answer (technical specific, roadmap, …)
Meet customers, prospects, channel … to gather but also share information (roadmap validation, …) in regards of Cloud Services
Content document
Contribute to competitive analysis, use cases, success stories
Owns product documents like Roadmap, Presales Presentation, Functional Specification, product datasheet
Internal Coordination
Share Cloud Services strategy to our executive, sales management, sales … during internal events
Provide to System Engineers & R&D the functional expectations of the solution. This is not the “How”, but the “What”: Features, reporting…
Coordination with the Services Organization who runs our Cloud Services (release, pre-requisite, recommendation …)
Collaborate to the marketing delivery : Web site, news, webinars, use cases, …
Desired Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in Cloud Services : Architectures, functional definition, key features (multi-tenancy, reporting …)Strong understanding of eco-system relationship in cloud Services : Providers, Customers, Partners …5+ years of experience has product manager in Cloud Services environment (ideally, a SaaS company or big SIs)Excellent English verbal / written communication SkillsPresales / Sales Engineer experience is a strong plusSD-WAN and Enterprise Networking Architecture experience is a strong plus
