Job Description
We've built the “Hyper Aware” platform for Account-Based Marketing because B2B buyers have changed more in the last 5 years than anytime in history. With Account Sensing, our clients are able to identify anonymous account activity and power Account-Based Marketing programs with IP Advertising, Retargeting, Website Personalization, Analytics and Sales Enablement.
As Product Manager, you will have complete ownership of the Account Sensing technology. This includes owning the product vision, speaking to customers, defining user stories & acceptance criteria and creating wireframes. You will also closely collaborate with design and engineering teams to execute on the roadmap, and will evangelize and train internal and external customers on benefits and capabilities of what your team has built.
You must possess a unique blend of business and tech savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
Responsibilities
Know your market: we’re in a 5,000+ players space. We’re fighting everyday for customer budget and battle with very diverse competitors. You’ll have to champion competition, provide oversight, and help position and differentiate against them;
Decide what to build: work closely with customers, sales, services, customer success, engineering to prioritize users features based on data evidence, business objectives and engineering estimates;
Build, measure, learn: Foster a culture of data driven decision making by measuring the impact of what you’ve built, make mistakes, iterate, and continuously improve (Kaizen).
Add clear details: Own and write comprehensive product specifications. Develop epics, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria and initial prototypes and partner with engineers along the way;
Ship ship ship: Collaborate daily with engineering team in Scrumban development process to deliver new features and continuous improvements;
Ensure smooth release: Lead and collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and Sales on all business readiness activities including end user training, product testing, rollout, iteration and support;
You’re not alone: analyze potential partner relationships for your product area because we live in an ecosystem.
Essential Skills & Experience:
5+ years of product management for a product company, ideally B2B SaaS;
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience;
Strong analytical capabilities. You excel at and enjoy building models and decomposing complex structures into useful primitives;
Show excellent communication skills in written and oral English with the ability to face external and internal customers in a professional manner;
Strong technical abilities. You are intimately familiar with agile software development practices used to build and deploy web and mobile applications. You’ve preferably been working full time on a software delivery team;
Candidates should demonstrate project management and troubleshooting skills.
An approach that starts from the end customer and then work backwards from there.
Strong customer and stakeholder empathy. You must be not only the voice of the customer, but at various times the voice of marketing, finance, engineering, support and ops. You must be able to channel many points of view.
