We are looking for a Food Chemistry Testing Product Manager in Calle Longitudinal 8, 26, Barcelona 08040 ESP. Your mission will be to:

As Food Chemistry Testing Product Manager, you will report directly to the Europe Marketing Director and will have the responsibility to develop our Chemistry testing offer through the following missions:

Animate the chemistry network
Structure and manage the Chemistry expertise in coordination with the experts
Drive projects for sustainable & profitable growth, define Go-to-market strategies and coordinate actions launched across European subsidiaries
Interact with Europe Operations team to facilitate and develop intercompany business

Develop the market knowledge
Structure and maintain the market knowledge in collaboration with European subsidiaries
Deepen the knowledge on specific food segments for better understanding of customer needs and design specific offers
Bring scientific and competitive watch
Analyze market trends to identify emerging issues and contribute to our thought leadership on Food Safety

Maintain the capabilities and related platform

Identify and prioritize new methods development in coordination with R&D team
Adapt the methods to better sell Chemistry tests (e.g. adaptation to new regulatory requirements and/or customer requests)
Maintain up to date the capabilities platform together with the lab network

Provide right technical support to Sales team

Build efficient Sales tools for the countries
Bring technical support to Sales teams for meetings with key customers
Support the tender process (eg. Global Key Accounts)

YOUR SKILLS

With Master of Science level, the incumbent must justify for 5-10 years of experience in a similar role in B2B Marketing in Chemistry industry or Biochemical business. Having a good knowledge of the Food industry sector, as well as safety and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Strategic thinker with understanding of customer needs and competitor marketplace, you are tenacious, reactive and proactive. Ability to drive teamwork and robust relationship management skills are necessary to appropriately manage the missions.

Fluent in English (oral and written).

Location: Barcelona, Resana or France (Cergy 91) with regular business travels in European countries
