The Team

The ESG Indices team is seeking a professional to support and promote our core ESG index franchise within the EMEA region. This team is responsible for positioning our core ESG products in the market and evolving our product line up to meet the demands of ESG index users.  This global team works collegiately to help investors align their investments with their values, achieve sustainable returns and promote positive change.

The Impact

ESG is a top strategic priority for S&P Global as well as S&P Dow Jones Indices (SPDJI). This role is pivotal in positioning existing product, as well building new product to suit the needs of the region. You will play a key part in communicating SPDJI’s ESG message to the market. You will also support ESG leadership on day-to-day activities as required.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective and current clients to explain the advantages of SPDJI's ESG methodology, depth of data, and indices; match our capabilities with their needs
Present at conferences, seminars, and in other forums to elevate S&P DJI's ESG methodology, ESG indices, and solutions in the eyes of major investors
Keep abreast of current ESG regulations and collaborate with colleagues to understand ramifications and opportunities for SPDJI
Create engaging content including presentations and papers, which explain the benefits of the quality of our ESG data, access to the data via our indices and the value proposition of our indices
Partner with Senior ESG Product Managers on client requests, creating and maintaining PowerPoint decks in addition to other product collateral
Conduct research and analysis into markets and trends, manipulating datasets to support desk-based research as required
Collaborate with other teams to explore ESG related opportunities and provide support
Successfully lead and participate in multiple projects and deadlines which include requirements gathering, data gathering, analytical thinking and documentation

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification  

Experience working in ESG investing with an understanding of ESG Data and knowledge of European ESG regulation
Experience working in the finance or investments industry including, but not limited to, an ESG analyst, product specialist/sales specialist, Investor Relations or product development
Additional European languages advantageous
First class communication skills – written, verbal and presenting
Thrive in a sales-like environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Strong organization skills and the ability to show the flexibility of multitasking and prioritization
