We are ALPI (part of Schneider Electric) and we are experts in software development for the automated design and modeling of electrical installations in a BIM (Building Information Management) environment. Founded in 1986, ALPI solutions include calculation, sizing, schematics and costing to enable users to manage and operate a complete project. We are looking for a Software Systems Tester to contribute to the testing of solutions to manage the buildings of tomorrow.

At the heart of the various and varied issues of the electrotechnical world, you will contribute to the quality of applications before they are put online on customer environments.

Faced with technical problems, you will try to provide pragmatic and innovative solutions.

Your rigor and attention to detail will be an essential asset for the success of your various missions.

You will join a dynamic and committed team, having the opportunity to work on projects related to the current twin themes of digital building (BIM), renewable energies and energy efficiency.

The missions:

Analyze the specifications and solutions proposed by the development team.
Define, implement and maintain test cases.
Analyze problems, write anomaly reports and propose corrective approaches.
Implement innovative tools and approaches for better efficiency (automation).
Contribute to the improvement of the quality assurance process.
Exchange regularly with the project and support teams.

The skills required:

Knowledge of software testing methodologies, e.g. ISTQB certification
Ability to quickly integrate functional aspects of tested software
Mastery of testing tools, knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python)
Autonomy and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, spoken and written professional English
Good teamwork skills

Bonus skills not essential:

Electrical engineering business skills
Knowledge in the field of BIM or CAD
Experience in cloud or test automation
