The Digital Product Manager is a senior role and is positioned within the Industry Verticals organization. The role is global and spans the Aviation, Ports & Borders, Urban Security & Defense industries. You will report into an Industry Director, and be responsible for one or more of the company's digital product offerings. The primary mission of the Digital Product Manager is to manage the complete lifecycle of their Digital Product(s), in order to facilitate growth of the Global SD Digital business. This role can be fully remote, with potential to be travelling up to 50% of the time.

Duties & Responsibilities For your allocated portfolio, own, create and be responsible for the outward-looking Market Requirements Documents (MRD) and the inward-looking Product Requirements Documents (PRD). Design, implement and drive fully cross functional activity to ensure the PRD is accurate, fit for purpose, aligned to the Product’s roadmap and wider Digital business strategy. Develop, release, and manage launch plans necessary to deliver the Product(s) efficiently and effectively.Deliver Product and/or Solution specific proposals, presentations, concepts and solutions to identified decision makers (internal and external). The Individual Bachelor’s degree in Technical Engineering Discipline, Marketing, Business Management, or relevant field. Extensive experience in Product and or business management; participation in major project/s is useful, specific experience in Digital Product marketing is preferred. Experience creating, maintaining and managing a Product roadmap.Experience and understanding of different aspects of the business (Customer service, Manufacturing, Operations and installation, Purchasing, Sales, Programmes, Marketing and R&D). Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio). Knowledge and experience in the use of SAP About Smiths
