Group Product Manager

The candidate will report to the marketing and Product management manager BDU Heat Pumps. This role has been created in order to improve market knowledge, efficiency and productivity/effectiveness of the Heat Pump Product Management function. The group PM works closely with the Group product support manager within a small team.

The Product Manager is responsible for the product management of a heat pump product category. Supported by market information input from Product Managers in local business units, this will mean creating detailed product requests and business cases for Heat Pump Development projects in line with the Group Product Roadmap. The role will also be responsible for Product Management activities with the NPD development projects. The PM is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies for the organization, based on the corporate vision and objectives. Typically, he will work closely with the other business units to achieve the organizational goals.

Main responsabilities :

· To have a detailed understanding of the market needs in all applicable countries in order to ensure a high quality of product requirement definition at the start of projects.

· Creation of detail product requests (DPR) and business cases for projects in order to deliver the product strategy and the roadmap plan effectively and on time

· To support the NPD project team and ensure on time delivery of Product Management key deliverables within the project including coordination of SG prototype VOC validation

· To present projects at key development stage gates to the Heat Pump Project Steering Committee in order to ensure visibility and approval of the Heat Pump BDU Director and Management Team and country Business Development Managers

· Pricing strategy, product messaging document / presentation, collation of product technical content and organizing training for trainers in each country in order to enable the local Product Managers to coordinate a successful product launch in each country.

· The PM is Required to identify problems and think of solutions to resolve them. This may include making big changes to existing processes, systems or products, improving and adapting existing methods and techniques, based on personal experiences and feedback

Required profil :

Essential

· English fluent

· Degree level qualification in Marketing or engineering

· 5 years’ experience in project management

· Excellent Communication skills

· Strategic thinker

· Technical knowledge/understanding

· Proactive, flexible and organized
