We are looking for a Embedded SW Engineer for our site in Creteil for CDA Business Group.

Your challenges ? 

The Test Tools Coordinator ensures that Test Tools are delivered according to the project test teams requirements and in alignment with the project timeplan. By the Test Tools we understand any test system (combination of HW or SW) necessary to test/validate/measure/record a Product feature or the Product itself.

The Test Tools Coordinator must have Test Tools Developers available in his team to work on the requested Test Tools. He/she gathers the requirements from the test teams and distributes the development activities to his/her team of Test Tools Developers and coordinates them. Test Tool Developers may be supplied by the project, by various platforms, by contractors or external suppliers.

The test tools team, led by the Test Tools Coordinator, will interact and need support from other development roles in the project in order to deliver their scope (Test teams, System Architects, SW Architects, SW Team, Sys Val services, Mechatronics, etc.)

Responsabilities :

Monitors the project timeplan and ensures Test Tools are delivered in line with the plan
Reports overall status of Test tool development activities to the System Validation TPM.
In case of deviations, escalates to the System Validation TPM on the project path and provides adequate information and proposals for decision making
Provides estimations in terms of Test Tools development efforts and costs.
Reviews requirements for Test Tools provided by the project test teams (System Validation Team, Mechatronic Test Team, SW Test Team, depending on the Product Line strategy).
Supports and reviews the System Integration, Verification and Validation test strategy from the perspective of needed tools and testability.
Contributes to the development of the Design for Test requirements and features, in line with the agreed test strategy.
Designs architecture of the Test Tools to meet the test teams requirements.
Coordinates the development tasks of Test Tools Developers in his team.
Ensures quality and validation of the Test Tools.
Is responsible for Test Tools development traceability and documentation.
Manages all suppliers of externally developed test tools as per the project needs.
Ensures the CDV SysVal Working Groups Standards are applied and followed
Aligns and synchronizes with the System Validation services when there are synergies between the used Test Tools (based on the project test strategy).
Continuously identifies areas for improvement, defines measures and ensures implementation in his/her area of responsibility.

Let's talk about you :

Excellent knowledge of software design
Experience desired in development of Vision based ADAS Systems
Good communication and proactive mindset, able to communicate with Valeo experts from other sites located globally.
Excellent knowledge of Programming languages: C/C++/CPAL/Python
Excellent knowledge of Automotive EE/ADAS SW Testing Toolchains: Vector/dSPACE/NI
Broad experience with Valeo validation activities
Good knowledge of embedded systems and software
Familiar with agile development methodology
Ability to document comprehensively and concisely
Team coordination skills for local and global organizations.
Design of System Validation test benches: Mode- in-the-Loop (MIL),  Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Hardware-in-the Loop (HIL)-test platforms, 
Design of Vehicle Instrumentation, Ground Truth Reference System
Vehicle Rest Bus Simulation Design and Implementation
Knowledge of Computer Vision and Video Injection Toolchains (NI, FPGA, PXI…)

Vos missions ?
L'Ingénieur Système embarqué doit disposer de développeurs d'outils de test disponibles dans son équipe pour travailler sur les outils de test demandés.

Il rassemble les exigences des équipes de test et distribue les activités de développement à son équipe de développeurs d'outils de test et les coordonne.

Vous surveillez le calendrier du projet et s'assure que les outils de test sont fournis conformément au plan
Vous signalez l'état général des activités de développement des outils de test au module de plateforme sécurisée de validation du système.
passe en revue les exigences relatives aux outils de test fournis par les équipes de test du projet (équipe de validation du système, équipe de test mécatronique, équipe de test du logiciel, selon la stratégie de la ligne de produits).
Vous prenez en charge et examinez la stratégie de test d'intégration, de vérification et de validation du système du point de vue des outils nécessaires et de la testabilité.
Vous contribuez au développement de la conception pour les exigences et les caractéristiques d'essai, conformément à la stratégie d'essai convenue.
Vous concevez l'architecture des outils de test pour répondre aux exigences des équipes de test.
Vous vous assurez de la qualité et la validation des outils de test.
Vous êtes responsable de la traçabilité et de la documentation du développement des outils de test.
vous gérez tous les fournisseurs d'outils de test développés en externe selon les besoins du projet.
Vous vous assurez que les normes des groupes de travail SysVal du CDV sont appliquées et respectées
Vous identifiez en permanence les domaines à améliorer, définit les mesures et assure la mise en œuvre dans son domaine de responsabilité.

A propos de vous ?

Excellente connaissance de la conception de logiciels
Expérience souhaitée dans le développement de systèmes ADAS basés sur la vision
Bonne communication et esprit proactif, capable de communiquer avec les experts Valeo d'autres sites situés dans le monde.
